The concept for The Wood Vibrations was to build a band with limitations and then see how far beyond the limits we could go. Using acoustic instruments and our voices, we’ve created a sound and style that is a unique statement amongst bands who play the music of other artists. With a repertoire of songs that ranges from atmospheric background to floor stomping dance anthems from the last 70 years, there is music for everyone to enjoy. Our instrumentation allows for plenty of control over volume and we offer different band configurations to fit into any situation. Exceeding expectations is what we strive to do. The Wood Vibrations cover a wide range of songs and genres (rock, pop, country, oldies, dance, disco, folk, jazz, classical) from artists like The Beatles, Whitney Houston, Rihanna, Dave Matthews, Lady Gaga, Paul Simon, Taylor Swift, and so many more. The core band consists of acoustic guitar, violin, bass, drums. All four musicians are singers which makes for a variety of voices. Every booking includes personalized planning sessions, MC services, insurance, song requests, full sound systems for all parts of your event, music during breaks, wireless mic for officiant/speeches, and band lighting. We also offer ceremony music (guitar and violin), cocktail hour music and DJ devices. Our lineup can be expanded to fit your needs with extra singers and musicians upon request.
