Located in Brodhead, Wisconsin, Three Waters Reserve is an outdoor wedding venue. This restored prairie and savanna is set on 57 acres of stunning natural habitat that features towering oaks. Facilities and Capacity
Three Waters Reserve offers a range of event spaces for newlyweds-to-be to choose from. Those who want to make the most of this stunning natural habitat can invite up to 200 people for outdoor events. Alternatively, couples can choose to avail of the Main Hall, accommodating up to 88 guests.
Services Offered
Along with ceremonies and receptions, Three Waters Reserve can host pre-nuptial celebrations, including engagement parties, showers, and rehearsal dinners. This team understands that every couple is different and welcomes your choice of outside vendors on-site. They can also provide you with a range of banquet necessities such as tables and chairs, preventing you from needing to source these from elsewhere.
History
This wedding venue boasts a rich history, with records confirming that humans have been in the area for almost 12,000 years. Sugar River is most famous for the freshwater pearl rush in the early 1900s when people came from far and wide to seek the treatures of the riverbed. The Reserve itself can be traced back to 1905, when the land was purchased by Henry C. Putnam. While much of the land was briefly renovated into a golf course, it was lovingly restored back to a natural reserve in 2018.

A nature enthusiast with a deep love for the outdoors, Sandy honed her conservation ethos growing up on a family farm. Her conservation journey has led her through various roles in non-profit organizations like Humans and Nature, Libertyville Land Conservancy and Three Waters Reserve. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding and capturing the beauty of the natural world through photography.
Chef John Marks is an award winning executive chef with over 40 years of experience in menu design & food service operations. A graduate of the California Culinary Academy, Chef Mark's creative approach to cuisine and philosophies regarding whole-animal utilization have gained him national recognition from the Midwest to Hawaii. After over two decades overseeing the culinary operations of several major Wisconsin healthcare systems, Marks has taken up permanent residence as the Director of Culinary Services for Three Waters Reserve, where he continues to enrich the lives of our guests and team with a steady approach to leadership, a keen mind for business development and an uncanny ability to bring transcendent culinary creations to the table.
