ThunderHawk is a beautiful wedding venue situated on an award-winning 120-acre 18-hole golf course operated by the Lake County Forest Preserves. This sought-after space features large windows spanning the length of the room, wood beamed ceilings, and stone fireplaces. It overlooks the stunning golf course designed by internationally acclaimed golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Surrounded by the beautiful forest preserve golf course, there is a newly renovated outdoor bricked patio that can be for your ceremony, cocktail hour or for guest seating.

We offer flexibility with hourly charges and can tailor the timeframe to your preferences. Please note that we do not provide food, beverages, wait staff, bartenders, tableware, décor, or linens. You have the freedom to choose any caterer or vendor that you would like, and you can purchase your own alcohol.

The venue can seat up to 175 people, with a dancefloor, or 200 for a cocktail reception. There are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dates still available in 2024, and we are now proudly booking the space for 2025! Please contact our special events team for pricing and availability.
