Choosing the UMass Lowell ICC was the best decision I could have made for our wedding. This venue was literally one stop shop and very reasonably priced. We had all of our pre and post-wedding festivities here. It was extremely convenient to be able to have the rehearsal, the day before events, the wedding/reception and even a morning after brunch without having to leave the location.
The staff was amazing and held my hand through the entire planning process and execution. Kathleen made sure all the I's were dotted and the T's crossed and Paul was there the night of my wedding until the last guest left the bar making sure all our needs were met. The whole experience was seamless. The best part was I actually got to relax on my wedding day knowing that they had it under control.
The space is beautiful. We had the entire ball room and did the pipe and drape with the up lighting, gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside in the lower locks and it was beautiful. We comfortably fit 140 guest into the space. I got some great photos out back by the bridges and the water and the ceremony pics in the lower locks were great.
The food was delicious. Everyone raved about it. The chef was very accommodating and incorporated all my requests, and I am picky when it comes to my food! We had the breaded chicken which was super moist, the marinated sirloin cooked perfect and a 4 cheese tortellini which was to die for. They had no problem tailoring the menu to fit our needs.
The hotel accommodations were great and the hotel staff was excellent. I had roughly 20 family members and out of town friends staying in the hotel the days leading up to the wedding and I have heard nothing but good things from them. Everyone felt right at home there.
We couldn't have made a better decision than to put the most important day of our lives into the hands of the UMass Lowell ICC. I wouldn't change a thing.
