The goal behind starting UNION Films is to offer an alternative to the often frowned upon or dated wedding video format, and to update it into a timeless, artistic, personalized documentation of your own story from first meeting, to where you are today.

Being as I worked as a commercial video editor in Manhattan, I would often offer to edit and sometimes shoot friends weddings as gifts. It evolved from there into what is today, my new passion.

Upon launching UNION NY and creating the most current set of video's, I've had clients or friends say that they never even knew that they wanted a video until they saw the final product- which is fantastic. UNION wants to tell a story. Simple as that. We want to provide a beautiful moving image film that is encapsulated into a 20 - 40 minute work that you can eagerly share with friends and family without hitting the fast forward button. We want you to re-watch it for the years following to really help you remember and appreciate that day. A film that does take you somewhere photographs just don't have the ability to take you.

There is a greater form of story telling that we can explore that will endure the test of time.

ABOUT MYSELF:

After receiving my BFA in Media Arts I toured a few cities throughout the States and eventually found myself as many do, in New York City.

Personally, in 2008 my husband Marco and I were married in San Francisco during the Prop 8 Debate. Both of us are huge animal lovers. We have a French Bulldog named Gustave and a cat named Crybaby and we're considering more! We took our engagement photo's at the K Mart portrait studio and added "minor" re-touching. :-)
