Unnati is an amazing mehendi artist. Her work is clean and her henna leaves a nice dark stain. I worked with her for my bridal mehendi, party mehendi, and draping.

During my bridal henna, she constantly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. She even helped me take sips of my coffee!

Her draping method was clean and my dupatta did not budge even though I danced all night.

On the wedding day, she was the most calming presence in the room. I would highly recommend her to any bride needing mehendi or draping services for their wedding day. She is truly the sweetest and most talented mehendi artist and sari draper in the entire Chicagoland area.

Everything about working with Unnati was phenomenal. Our wedding events lasted five days, and so I was nervous about when to schedule getting my mehndi done. I wanted it to be late enough that it would be vibrant each day, but where it would also be properly coordinated with my other pre-wedding beauty appointments. She was instrumental in helping me to figure out the best timing. Because she uses high quality natural mehndi that lasts longer than the typical store-bought formulations, her designs were just as dark and bright on the last day as when she first applied them. After seeing only one picture of the kind of pattern I liked, she made a gorgeous design on my hands and feet. It had the perfect balance of depicting an intricate design against the backdrop of some bare skin, making the pictures of my hands at different angles particularly beautiful. She also covered a large surgery scar on my ankle. She seamlessly extended the design on my feet to cover the scar and surrounding smaller scars, even incorporating parts them into the design. The extra embellishments only enhanced the beauty of the design, giving it a nice finishing flourish. It was particularly special for me when my mom and grandma were overjoyed by how gorgeous Unnati's designs looked, and by how dark the color was. Seeing one's daughter or granddaughter in bridal mehndiis a poignant moment, a small milestone, in itself, and Unnati helped me to nail the meaningfulness of that moment with my family. Wedding planning is obviously a very stressful time, and we had an accelerated timeline, which only compounded the anxiety about everything turning out well. Unnati's sweet, calm, and very kind demeanor made this part of the process much easier and and very enjoyable. She epitomizes artistry, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others make their big day(s) truly special, and I would work with her again in a heartbeat.

Unnati was amazing. She is an artist at heart. She has a passion for all things design and it really shows in her work! She was so sweet throughout the bridal mehndi process helping me answer my phone and offering to get me food/drink. Not only is she a sweetheart but she also went above and beyond on the mehndi design. I would highly recommend her and hopefully I will get a chance to work with her again.
