My daughter just got married exactly a week ago, and we had the absolute pleasure of having Adam of unoaked Event Design at the helm of that monumental day! He has a warm and confident presence, with an "I've got this" or "I've got you" attitude that shone through in all of our emails, phone calls, and in the thick of the big day. Thank goodness Adam was there to expertly manage all of the complex intricacies of an event such as this.

I opted for the month of package since we had most everything planned out and booked prior to finding him, but let me say what a godsend it was, not only to have him there the day of, but also the entire month of, and not to have a care in the world! Adam's kindness and professionalism were on display at all times, and I was confident in and impressed with Adam's great handling and care of the day. From his skill in contacting and directing vendors, to kindly picking up items at our house in the crazy last few days leading up to the wedding (and it was WAY out of his way, which I came to discover), to adeptly managing set up AND takedown, to addressing any concerns or unexpected circumstances respectfully and head on, to keeping us informed throughout the six plus hour day (many hours longer for him), to treating everyone with the utmost care and respect, to consistently checking in to make sure we were happy with everything, and finally, to truly treating my daughter, my son in law, my husband and myself like kings and queens for the day, we all knew that Adam could execute it all. He is exceptional. Adam is a consummate pro and I would 100% reach out to him for ANY event that may arise in our family.

Adam was AMAZING! My sister's wedding venue shut down 3 weeks before her wedding day, and Adam was there to do damage control every step of the way. He helped find a new venue, coordinate with all the vendors, took control and make her wedding day possible. He was able to give my sister peace of mind during all the chaos. He was so enjoyable to be around and made sure the day went smoothly. We will be talking about Adam for the rest of our lives! Could not recommend him enough!!!!

First off - thinking you can have a wedding without at least a day-of coordinator is absurd. I work in the event space and can say this not only from work experience but most importantly as a post-wedding bride. Your head will be floating on the wedding day from constant attention on you, so much happiness and love being thrown your way it's hard to absorb it all, nerves and wanting to soak in all the little moments. Post-wedding, I can say I was not in the right mental space to execute my event and after spending all that money, I deserved to be present and not dealing with all the little details that day... and trust me - there are so many it will make your head spin!! In my gut, I knew I needed someone I could trust to execute my vision so I could be present and I'm so glad I did.

After deciding on Five Crowns restaurant and Community Congregational church as my venues for a 70-80 person wedding, I found that Adam had done many events at both and even worked at Five Crowns previously in their events department. After talking with him and hearing his confidence, direct but kind nature and level of experience, I knew it was an excellent match. I knew he would advocate for me on my wedding day and that's exactly what happened. Adam was ready to help a month before the wedding and we worked together to provide him all the info he needed for day-of execution. Come day of, him and his team kept me calm and executed all of my plans perfectly. He also went above and beyond when it came down to certain logistics requiring an extra helping hand on the days leading up - that really took a load off for me mentally.

I can honestly say the day wouldn't have gone the way it did without him and his team and I couldn't have imagined doing this without coordination help that day. If you are debating having a "day of" planner, just do it. Trust me. It's worth it. Gift it to yourself if anything. You deserve it.
