About

Built in 1966, The General Butler Vagabonds Center has continuously served as a gathering place for community members of Butler County and surrounding areas. Our primary focus has always been and will continue to be as an educational organization for the education and training of youths in the musical field. For the past 50+ years numerous Championship winning Drum & Bugle Corps have called The General Butler Vagabond Center home. We are proud to be keeping this tradition alive with the introduction of NOMAD Indoor Drumline in 2016. How is all of this related to Bingo? Well, the answer is simple. Without the support of the community and the funds generated by Bingo at The Vagabond Center, we would not be able to continue to support the musical interests of youth in the community. On behalf of everyone at The General Butler Vagabond Center, we would like to say thank-you for your support over the years and hope to see you at Bingo soon!

I had no idea what I was looking for in a reception hall, but I could not have imagined that we would get such value for our wedding. Melissa who manages the hall is like a wedding planner for the reception and is just a wealth of knowledge on what works and what does not. Her and her husband run the catering business for the hall; Simply Catered. The food was exceptional and everyone loved the salad bar!! Melissa listened to my ideas for the reception and then took them and made them a thousand times better with her own decorations. We meant several times over the year of planning and she was very professional and organized each time knowing what we needed to accomplish at that meeting as well as being personable and easy to communicate with. I knew that I did not have to worry about the reception decorating or the food at all during the day of the wedding because they would get everything done and it would be great. I can not say enough about the value you get for the money. Many of the guests commented on how good the food was and the plates, non-alcoholic beverages and decorations are included in that as well as the set up and tear down at the hall. The hall is large enough that we only used three quarters of it for the 300 of us including our guests and we still had plenty of space. I was impressed with how nice the hall is on the inside. It is not a warehouse, but has some nice walls and lighting on its own and then with the decorations it absolutely transforms into a fairy tale! Melissa helped to make our wedding an even more wonderful day than we could imagine and we are very grateful!

Great inexpensive hall, and they provide pretty good food for the price
