Having Evgenia capture our engagement photos and our wedding day was an absolute dream! We could not have asked for a better person to capture our wedding day! We communicated our vision with Evgenia beforehand which was more candid photos so that we could be fully present on our wedding day. Well, Evgenia blew our vision out of the park! Our wedding photos came out stunning and truly capture the energy, emotions, and loving moments of our wedding day. Evgenia told our story beautifully through her lens and we are eternally grateful for all the stunning photos we have to look back on. Her work is truly impeccable and to this day we are blown away every time we look at our wedding photos.

We had a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We were initially a little nervous about going with a local wedding photographer, although when I saw Evgenia’s beautiful work on instagram I decided to inquire about her wedding photography. She quickly responded and met up with my husband and I in person while we were on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. After meeting with her in person, we immediately knew that we wanted her as our wedding photographer and booked her right away. She connected us with a local videographer (Me and My Wife Films/Max Conrad) who is just as amazing and talented (Evgenia and Max are truly the perfect duo!).

Evgenia has such a calming presence and is amazing at communicating, which is a breath of relief that every bride needs. She goes out of her way to help her clients in any way she can, even if it’s unrelated to wedding photography. She truly was our saving grace in many instances during our wedding planning process which I’m BEYOND grateful for. She had also previously captured weddings at our venue which was a huge advantage as she was familiar with the area and knew the best spots for photos. We got our wedding photos back so fast, and when I say my jaw dropped when I saw our photos I mean it! She truly is so talented and we are so blessed to have had her capture our special day. We would hire her again and again in a heartbeat!

We were so happy with Evgenia and our wedding photos! Overall we got tons of stellar photos and Evgenia was very communicative and easy to work with. I would certainly recommend her as a wedding photographer. More details on our experience below.

Neither of us really likes being in photos, and Evgenia was a pro at making us feel comfortable. She also captured lots of shots that weren't too stiff or overly posed, which really helped us look more natural in our wedding photos, which we love. We also got a ton of different backdrops and poses/ scenarios to give a wide variety of shots which is awesome. Evgenia was very efficient in getting all of the shots we wanted including a lot of group shots and some with babies/ toddlers who certainly aren't always the easiest to get a good photo of. She was assertive enough to get the shots needed, but I also didn't feel like she was in the way of what was happening during the wedding.

Evgenia was also the most prompt, organized and communicative vendor we dealt with for our wedding, which was a wonderful added bonus. She always answered emails promptly, and had an advance call with us to go over what we were looking for. It was helpful having someone so reliable and responsive. We looked at several other photographers and her rates were very reasonable and in line with or even a little more affordable than others.

We got a handful of photo selects within about a week after the wedding, and all of the photos within 2-3 weeks of the wedding. She gave us even more photos than we expected, so many great ones to choose from! Especially considering we had her for a relatively short time (4 hours). Also, there was one photo I liked but my bangs were weirdly stuck to my forehead and I asked Evgenia if she could edit it, and she did it super promptly, which was great.
