Verde River Golf & Social Club offers couples the ideal wedding venue in Rio Verde, Arizona, surrounded by stunning scenery. The property looks out upon the breathtaking vista of Tonto National Forest, featuring views of the Mazatzal Mountains and the Four Peaks landmark. Against this beautiful natural backdrop, couples can celebrate in style in one of the many event spaces. Rest assured that Verde River Golf & Social Club doesn't just offer abundant natural beauty. Facilities and Capacity
The space hosts a range of events each year, and every event is unique and different from the next. The experts at Verde River will happily take care of all your needs. This venue has three spaces for celebrations:
- The indoor Verde River Events Center
- The indoor Chef's Table
- The majestic Mazatzal Ceremony Lawn
The outdoor ceremony lawn allows up to 140 guests to sit theater-style, looking out over the incredible Mazatzal Mountains. If you prefer an indoor option, the Verde River Events Center is also a perfect space for a grand sit-down reception. The chef's table is an excellent option for couples looking to host an intimate reception with space for up to 12 people.
Services Offered
The Verde River Golf & Social Club provides an in-house wedding coordinator on hand to help couples with all aspects of design, including tabletops, event diagrams, menus, and bar packages. Catering and drinks are all provided by the social club's catering team. A cake-cutting service is also available as part of the catering package. Their in-house spa team is available for all your hair and makeup needs. Verde River Golf & Social Club will provide you with everything to make your dream wedding a reality.

Verde River Golf & Social Club is excited to have Shannon Cohen-Damron on the team! Shannon brings a strong background in event planning and food & beverage, and has a high volume of music venue management, too.
Shannon spent years in Las Vegas working with Wynn Resort’s Master Mixologist, specializing in beverage mixology. Shortly after, she served as General Manager of a live music venue in downtown Las Vegas. She has also led the food & beverage team at the Arizona Biltmore, held the role of Senior Food & Beverage Manager at Waldorf Astoria Resort, and held a Beverage Director position with Hilton. Additionally, Shannon has worked in a handful of private golf clubs and brings broad experience and deep passion to her position as Catering & Events Manager here at Verde River.
Shannon’s career has taken her across the country, working in both small resort towns like Sun Valley, ID, Aspen, CO and Park City, UT, and large cities such as Orlando, FL and Vegas. She has resided in Scottsdale since 2019.
Shannon is a retired professional slopestyle skier, and in her free time she also enjoys racing dirt bikes, wake surfing, golfing, and spending time with her two exotic cats and husband, Chance. We’re thrilled to have Shannon with us at Verde River!
