As I get older I’ve learned there are a few luxuries that are worth every penny; an accountant,
movers, and a wedding planner. With only six months to plan a wedding I could not imagine
doing it without Julia. A wedding never lacks for details and Julia helped us navigate all the
twists and turns and aided us in overcoming the unexpected especially when dealing with
budgets and costs. She held our hands through initial sticker shock (cause weddings are
expensive) and helped us to creatively adjust our expectations when needed. Her knowledge of
the wedding industry and the vendor process guided us in finding reasonable and affordable
products and services that fit our specific budget. The fun part of the planning was
brainstorming ideas creating an event that our friends and family still talk about. Her energy
was boundless and her creativity shined in every aspect of our wedding. She made every effort
to make sure that both of our wishes were incorporated in our wedding to establish a beautiful
and cohesive story of us, our families, our present and our future. An excellent wedding planner
is always one step ahead, Julia was many steps beyond. She made sure everything was
PERFECT anticipating needs, quirks, flawlessly adjusting to the unexpected. Julia acted as the
voice of reason when stress levels increased and served as a comforting presence knowing she
had everything under control. Her expertise, experience, and genuine devotion to our wedding
made it memorable and in the end everything just felt right just like when you’ve met the person
you want to spend the rest of your life with.

I was looking for special gifts for my bridal party - and Julia at Vessel Brooklyn went above and beyond for me. I was looking into gift boxes but a lot of them we're kitschy or one size fits all, which is why I really loved how I got to work 1:1 with Julia to create boxes that suited my wedding party. I was able to do individual custom boxes for my 2 sisters and then both sets of parents which was so amazing. It was really cool to go through the planning process with her where she asked me questions about each of them so that she could customize the boxes specially to them. Following the questionnaires, she had these great presentations so I could pick and choose products to go together. The boxes were SO beautiful - the presentation was stunning, wrapped in beautiful cloth. It created some very special moments on the wedding day when I gifted these to our wedding party. I can say my sisters especially were so moved. I can't express enough how amazing this whole experience was. You can tell Julia is an incredibly kind and compassionate person who is dedicated to the work she does and knows how important gifts like these can be.
