The Park of the Appian Way (IL PARCO APPIA ANTICA)

The ancient “Regina Viarum”, currently Appian Way, is the ideal path to take you to Villa Dino. This historic via is a Roman road which once connected Rome to Brindisi, the most important port for Greece and the Orient in the ancient Roman Empire. The Appian Way is probably the most famous historic Roman road of all.

A new Appian Way was built from Rome to Brindisi almost parallel to the original one in 1784. Given the historic interest and the amount of archaeological finds along the way, a proposal was set forth establishing a protected area which would allow Romans to preserve and cultivate these riches. Currently there is the Appian Way Regional Nature Park, established November 10th, 1988, with an area of approximately 3,500 hectares, extending to the municipalities of Rome, Ciampino and Marino.

The Outdoor Park (IL PARCO ESTERNO)

Villa Dino has a beautiful private park with a botanical garden surrounded by trees, flowers and extensive meadows. It has magnificent specimens of cypress trees, olives and towering palms. A beautiful fountain welcomes you to the immensity of the park and a fragrant citrus grove is the scene of elegant cocktails under the stars. Archaeological artifacts embellish the garden making each event truly unique. Strolling along the boulevard entrance, you can see the monumental Roman colonnade, a magnificent backdrop for scenic outdoor ceremonies. Corners of the park become places of amusements for your “little guests”. Recommended entertainment create a memorable day for your guests.

Interior Spaces (GLI SPAZI INTERNI)

Villa Dino has two living rooms with large windows and a unique view of the large park. If the weather does not allow, the two rooms offer an elegant atmosphere for a wedding or an important anniversary. The capacity is for about 250 people for the hall on the first floor and 200 on the ground floor. Both rooms are air conditioned and covered by wi-fi.
