Facilities & Capacity

Located at the top of Alabama's stunning Red Mountain, Vulcan Park and Museum offers a selection of indoor and outdoor spaces, with stunning views of the city of Birmingham suitable for servicing intimate rehearsal dinners and wedding ceremonies, as well as lavish wedding receptions. The park and museum in total can accommodate up to 350 guests. Its outdoor spaces include the City Overlook, Vulcan Plaza, and Kiwanis Centennial Plaza, while The Electra Room and patio can accommodate indoor weddings. The scenic City Overlook can comfortably seat up to 250 guests, while The Electra Room can service up to 200 guests, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and a private outdoor patio. Event spaces can be used in conjunction upon request.

Services Offered

Every Vulcan Park and Museum's wedding package includes indoor tables and chairs, set up and breakdown, an on-site event coordinator, and parking. Outdoor furnishings are limited and must be provided by a third-party vendor. All event spaces are wheelchair accessible, and all include audio-visual equipment and WiFi. Couples are also welcome to work with outside vendors to help create the wedding they’ve always envisioned. Couples may also select a caterer from the venue's approved caterers list if catering services are desired. For beverage services, B&B Bartending can only be used if couples wish to serve alcohol at their Vulcan Park and Museum wedding event. Additional services provided include valet and on-site parking. Exclusive use of the entire Vulcan Park and Museum property can also be provided upon request.
