We had the wedding of our absolute best dreams here. Walking Lightly was the perfect place for a peaceful place for our intimate ceremony with our nearest and dearest in a beautiful, natural setting.

The ranch grounds are gorgeously maintained, and the caretakers were so thoughtful and welcoming that they felt like family. From our first planning visit they helped us strategize on ceremony & reception locations so that rain or shine, we'd have a beautiful day. They attended to every detail to make our event run smoothly, and even went above and beyond to help us sort out socially distanced accommodations on-site so that a family member who fell ill was able to safely stay and enjoy the wedding.

Most of our guests stayed on the ranch with us, which meant we had time and space for moments we couldn't have even planned for - my grandma holding court on the porch behind the guest barn, watching the morning mist on the lake with my bridesmaids before hair & makeup, board games in the sunroom while folks waited to take off for home the day after. Looking back, these are some of my favorite memories of our wedding, and the magic of this place is woven into each of them.
