Hey there! My name is Whitney, I am born and raised from Lima, Ohio. I grew up always having a creative mind, doing anything artsy. I am a self taught braider at the age of 7 or 8 and I remember the day when I was in middle school I learned how to french braid my own hair. I guess you could say i’ve just always had the hair gene in me!

Anyway, I love helping people build confidence, and i’m always hoping I can make someone love their hair to where their reaction is just “amazed” at how much they love it!!

I moved out to Lancaster, PA in Feb of 2012! I wanted a fresh new beginning and I found a salon that was the right fit for me at the time. I knew I wanted my main focus to be with Bridal hair. In 2015 I created my instagram so I could have an online portfolio of all my work. I utilized hashtags and tried to practice updos on my co-workers whenever I had a break so I could get my name out there. I soon became the Bridal Updo Expert and started to teach small classes in 2017 and it just grew from there!

I have two dogs! Perry and Roscoe! (a mini golden doodle + mini bernedoodle!) I’m definitely a dog lover!!

Random fact about me is that I love to crochet!

My hobby is gardening! I love planting flowers, some veggies, but also I love propagating new plants and giving them away lol!! If ya need any plants just lmk, I’ll most likely give you one!!

I was a nominee in Wella's Trend Vision Regional hairshow in 2016 + 2017 and a 2019 Judge for the BEA Hair Awards. 2017 I was inducted into the Hot Tools Hall of Fame . July of 2019 I was a Judge for the Bridal Hair category for the #BEA Awards in LA! I am a 6 year Nominee for Behindthechair #Oneshot Hair Awards, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021, 2022, 2023. A 2 year Nominee for Cosmoprofs #Licensedtocreate Awards in 2018 & 2019. In 2023 I wont educator of the year at the Beyond The Ponytail bridal hair awards!

I now have my own studio where its just me! Ive been on my own for 5 years now and I love it where I’m at!
