Matt Grosso founded We Livestream Weddings shortly after proposing to his soulmate, Kirsten. When Kirsten and Matt began to plan their wedding, they realized that they wouldn't be able to invite everyone to their wedding due to COVID-19. They were planning to get married at a state park in Minnesota, and they wanted to find a way to share their big day with everyone.
With his seven years of experience running Cloverleaf Audio-Visual, a multimedia production studio in Saint Paul, Matt knew exactly what to do. He assembled a livestreaming rig with a specialized mobile video encoder that would allow him to stream his big day with Kirsten anywhere with a cell phone signal. By tying together the bandwidth of three different cell networks and using a 4K camera with wireless microphones, they found a way to include all of their family and friends in their celebration.
After building the rig, Matt realized that other couples may need help streaming their weddings, and We Livestream Weddings was born.
