About
Throughout history, the form of the ring has been a symbol of eternal love and commitment -‐ it is the most famous symbol of the joining of a man and woman as husband and wife. The story of the humble wedding ring is long and mysterious, representing different aspects of love in different cultures and eras. The gift of this special ring began to be associated with love when it started to be worn on the third finger of the left hand, due to the belief that the vein of that finger led straight to the heart.
The original and unique Wedding Ring Workshop Experience was created in 1995 by master jeweller and goldsmith Simon Lewis. The experience is a once in a lifetime experience to make each others' wedding rings. We run the experience here in our Hatton Garden workshop and design studio every week. Each couple has a master jeweller to accompany them all day and help them realise their dream rings from concept through to creation.
This experience is the perfect start to married life and will provide memories which will last a lifetime. Celebrate your love by making each others rings with your own hands in less than a day.
So why not design and make your own rings at one of Hatton Garden's top contemporary design studios?
Once your rings have been designed and made they will then be taken to the London Assay Office for hall marking, and then be engraved inside with your special message before the final polish and presentation.
You are welcome to use any heirloom pieces of jewellery you may have as these can be melted down and incorporated into your band. If required, bands can be made wider and an extensive range of diamonds and precious stones are available at extra cost.
