This venue is beautiful and the perfect spot for a Southern wedding! We hosted our wedding on the lawn and used the other part of the lawn and the house for our reception. Our guests raved about the whole experience! Stacy, the venue manager, also owns Savory Street Catering, the exclusive caterer for the venue. She is AMAZING. So kind and helpful and the food was phenomenal!! Our guests are still talking about it. I loved being able to get ready upstairs. It was so relaxing and Stacy prepare the most delicious lunch for us. There is no doubt that if we host another event, it will be a Weir-Jordan and with Stacy!!!!

Stacy was so incredibly wonderful to work with! She made the food & cake selections so easy. Guests are still raving about the pimento cheese fritters yumm! Guests kept going back for 2nds & 3rds...
The venue at the Greensboro Woman's Club was gorgeous. Everyone was so kind & attentive beyond any of my expectations ! We used my grandparents wedding cake topper & the cake turned out so beautiful!! We loved the food, people, venue, and experience. Our day was definitely made perfect because of Stacy & her wonderful crew of angels!!

Forever thankful !

The Weir-Jordan House is an antebellum home, making it not only an historic part of Greensboro but also walkable from the downtown area. The venue boasts a large, main dining room and a sizeable front lawn for games, outdoor seating, or dancing. For dinner we opted to seat half of our 135 guests inside and half outside, and it worked wonderfully. The outdoor tent, dance floor, and extra table and chair rentals were handled by the folks at Weir-Jordan (through Partymakers) and included in the final bill, so we didn't have to worry about another vendor or contract. Furthermore, the thoughtful staff organized flower centerpieces at a reasonable price and helped arrange our personal table markers. Guests loved the historic and convenient location and, beyond that, the space rental fee was nominal in comparison to other downtown venues.

The Weir-Jordan House is exclusively catered by an in-house service, Savory Street, headed by Stacy Street. Stacy had an extensive option of menus to choose from and was able to cater to our dietary needs; we specifically had to avoid peanuts and bell peppers, but she also offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Beyond having several options to choose from, the food she made was amazing! Instead of ordering a wedding cake through a bakery, we opted to have Stacy's team make a variety of desserts including a cutting cake for us, which people loved. Drinks were easy as we got to bring in our own choice of alcoholic beverages, while Stacy provided professional bartenders to serve. This saved us a lot of money (no corkage fees) and also allowed us to serve our own favorites.

The thing we appreciated most about our experience with Stacy was not just how well informed and knowledgable about weddings she was, but how willing she was to meet with us and work through the details of our special night! Without any reservation, we would recommend Stacy and The Weir-Jordan House to anyone getting married in Greensboro.
