Westglow Resort & Spa is a historic wedding venue located near the Blue Ridge Parkway just outside the village of Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Couples and their guests will experience beautifully manicured grounds and breathtaking nature scapes at this 42-acre estate. They pride themselves on their luxury resort amenities, lavish accommodations, and restored and renovated Greek Revival-style mansion. Westglow Resort & Spa offers both indoor and outdoor settings for your ceremony and reception.
Facilities and Capacity Couples can accommodate up to 150 guests at this luxury resort and spa. For couples having an intimate ceremony, the West Portico is ideal. It’s also known as the front porch of the Wesglow mansion and can hold up to 50 guests. It features gorgeous views of Grandfather Mountain. You can then move into their adjacent Blue Ridge Parlor Room for an elegant sit-down dinner. The gorgeous Library can be used for additional seating or for a buffet or bar. For grander affairs, the Westglow Courtyard is perfect. This unique setting overlooking John’s River Gorge, can host 300 guests for a ceremony and 150 guests for a reception under the setting sun.

Every detail was perfect for our daughter's wedding at Westglow. We could not have been more pleased! Food served at luncheon reception was superb. The entire staff was excellent which ensured that all details flowed effortlessly!

We had our wedding here and it was such an amazing day due in large part to the staff at Westglow. Jen was an awesome coordinator and was easy to work with and on top of things from day one. I did not have to worry about much at all, because I knew the staff at Westglow would take care of everything. The salon did our hair and makeup with turned out great, the food was delicious, and all of my guests have been raving about how beautiful Westglow was.
We also stayed at Westglow, as did many of my family members. The beds were insanely comfortable and the rooms were so charming. The breakfasts were amazing and, once again, the staff was so great- they were kind, accommodating, and attentive all weekend.
I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. Thank you Westglow!

Everyone at Westglow were simply perfect! They are very professional and truly cared about my event. Out of all the crazy things a wedding weekend can bring, I was blown away by their professionalism and southern hospitality. I would recommend anyone to Westglow for a big event or even just a yummy dinner.
Westglow is a unique venue with a view that's just stellar. I've worked events there over the past years and they've always been memorable. The aesthetics of the venue feel grand and exclusive-- an ideal feel for your wedding. The food is always delicious and their events coordinator Jen really has a knack for pulling it all together. She really makes Westglow tick in my opinion. Jen has an open and honest way of communicating what needs to happen without seeming rushed or pushy. I look forward to working there again!
Westglow is such a unique venue, and we love working there. Their coordinator Jen is amazing! She is relaxed, organized, kind, and pays attention to every detail. The venue is the perfect one for great wedding pictures as well because of the gorgeous front lawn and the view of the mountains from all angles.
