About
Chad Robert Springer is a New York City based photographer who helps couples document the story of one of the most important days of their lives, their wedding. The combination of Chad?s experience as a photojournalist and his master technical ability, allow him to anticipate and capture the raw evocative moments of your special day. From the planned ?I do?s? to the unplanned moment when shy aunt Rita gets out onto the dance floor and starts cutting a rug, the story of your wedding will be beautifully recorded for you to enjoy forever. ?Each wedding is a story. The story usually begins as soon as the bride starts getting ready the morning of her wedding day. There are intimate moments she shares with her mother, her sister or her closest friends. Each detail of the day is important up until the time the bride and groom say good night. Those are all the memories that I?ll make sure you have forever. I like to think of photos as investments that mature with age,? says Chad. ?The details that I photograph may not mean much the day after the wedding, but years later when looking at the album, that photo will trigger a memory and take you back to the excitement of the day.? Prior to establishing White Door Weddings, Chad has worked as both an editorial portrait photographer and a commercial still life photographer. Published around the world, Chad?s work can be seen in TIME, The New York Times, W, Marie Claire Spain, Real Health, FILTER, and SLAM. Some of his commercial clients include Computer Science Corporation, Hoffman La-Roche, PAX Wholesome Foods, Certified International, Luxury Resorts Hotels, and Breeder?s Cup. Chad is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and has won awards from the National Press Photographers Competition as well as College Photographer of the Year competition.
