White Sulphur Springs is a dream of a venue. My husband and I got married here on 11/17/24 and it was such a wonderful place to get married. It is the total package. We traveled from all over the US for our wedding and all of our guests' first comments were "yeah, this was so worth the trip." We toured mid-summer and had our engagement shoot in the spring, and it is truly an all-season venue. It is beautiful no matter what time of year you visit, though I am partial to fall and it was gorgeous. And you get it for three days with their wedding weekend! This took so much stress off as we had plenty of time to set up the day before and ease through the day of, while being completely contained on-site with the huge bridal cabin and the beautiful groom's cabin. There are also 5 additional cabins available for guests to rent which creates such an intimate and fun atmosphere. Don't be afraid to bring a small wedding here! We wrapped up around 60-ish guests and it was amazing. I had some off the wall wants that were outside of their norm but they were so excited and helped to bring my vision to life. We had a Nordic-leaning, non-traditional wedding and they didn't blink. All couples are certainly welcome here without question. Dakota is amazing and worked with us from day one. I would sincerely recommend WSS as a wedding venue, but they would be amazing for any and every event!!

White Sulphur Springs was the perfect place for our wedding. We were taken care of by the hosts and they saw to it whatever we needed, we would get. We had a beautiful outside wedding and an amazing reception inside their gorgeous reception building. We had our rehearsal dinner in the bridal cottage. The wedding party being able to stay on was an added bonus. We had our wedding in October and with the leaves changing colors it was picturesque. Our wedding weekend went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Do yourself a favor and at the very least, check it out!

We got married at WSS right as they opened their gorgeous event center in September. This was the perfect location for us. It was so different from other event centers or barns in the area. There is a huge grassy area sitting between the space and the river. We had great weather and got married outside in front of a big, beautiful tree and the venue’s custom wood altar piece. The center was so well thought out from the stonework that reflected the history of the property to the double-sided fireplace which glowed into the evening. Whether you choose to have your wedding or event inside or outside here, you cannot go wrong!

We, along with most of our family, traveled up from Winston-Salem and surrounding areas. We opted to rent the lodge for both Friday and Saturday nights, and I am so glad we did. I had my sister and friends stay with me Friday night, taking the bridal suite downstairs while they enjoyed the extra rooms upstairs. Then after the festivities were over Saturday night, my new husband and I had the lodge to ourselves and didn’t have to travel after an incredible, but exhausting day. Some of our friends and family rented the cabins on the property and appreciated getting to stay close by. It was nice to wake up Sunday morning and get to soak everything in again before leaving.

This space is great for all ages, but we have a ton of nieces and nephews that thought it was just amazing. They got to run around together, and the adults got to mingle without worry, as there was so much outdoor space, and we were far from the road. Speaking of the main road, you cross this rustic bridge going over the river on your way in. It is fantastic for pictures, but I just appreciated getting to stop and hearing the running water every time we crossed it.

We used catering services from their affiliated restaurant, 13 Bones, and were thrilled with the pricing and quality. The catering manager, Ellie, was very friendly and easy to work with. The food and drinks were fantastic. The venue’s property manager, Bryson, was so helpful and answered our many questions. I could go on and on about what a great experience the venue and their team created for us! Thank you!
