Whitechapel Projects is a unique, industrial-chic wedding venue located in Long Branch, New Jersey. Inspired by the bustling and energetic Whitechapel District of London, this 120-year-old warehouse-turned-event space offers a breathtaking and historic backdrop to celebrations. The property was renovated through an environmentally friendly process known as adaptive reuse, which lovingly deconstructs and reconstructs buildings using their own materials. Re-opened in 2018, the venue is rustic yet industrial while boasting original bricks, tin ceilings, and even plywood that lend to its charming ambiance.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples touring Whitechapel Projects will enter through the Courtyard, a stunning outdoor courtyard where they can host intimate affairs underneath the stars. This space is enclosed by 22-foot-high brick walls, across which luxuriously drape bistro lights, and is ideal for more intimate gatherings, ceremonies, or cocktail hours. Inside, lovebirds can hold their ceremony and reception in the Chapel or the Backyard. The Chapel, a 2,100-square-foot hall with a gabled roof and exposed brick walls. The Chapel can be used in tandem with the restaurant which also features its own bar with 16 craft draft beers and a private entrance. Outback, the Backyard is available for grand celebrations. This 8,000-square-foot beer garden will soon house a shipping container bar and year-round art installations.

Services Offered
Catering at Whitechapel Projects is provided by the restaurant’s culinary team, who thoughtfully and carefully source fresh and local ingredients. Meals are accompanied by the nano-brewery’s rotating selection of in-house, local, and imported craft beers. The brewery makes cutting-edge beers as lemon peppercorn Saison, as well as classics such as a Citra and Simcoe-hopped IPA. The brewery also brings in microbrews from near and far in order to offer their customers drinks they wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to try. For the big day, couples can browse these artisanal menus with delicious farm-to-table cuisine. When this versatile venue isn’t hosting weddings, it is also used as a restaurant, brewery, art gallery, and farmer’s market.
