Wild Basin Lodge is a secluded mountain wedding venue located in Allenspark, Colorado. This rustic-chic lodge offers couples an intimate, personalized, and exclusive experience as well as a one-event-per-day policy. Your guests will experience mountain, river, and forest views as they celebrate your special day. Wild Basin Lodge offers an all-inclusive wedding planning approach. We have the venue, catering, and bar service all under one roof with one planning team. \
Facilities and Capacity
This mountaintop venue can accommodate up to 200 guests. For ceremonies, couples can get married at the River Run site or at the base of the Rocky Mountains at the Meadow Peak site. The estate's elegant lodge is an excellent place to hold your reception. You can choose between the Copeland or St. Vrain reception rooms, each of which is accompanied by hints of rustic charm while offering a warm ambiance. To add to this appeal, the handcrafted wood and stone lodge features gorgeous views of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Guests will also experience views of Mount Copeland, Mount Meeker, Longs Peak, and the St. Vrain River at this picturesque property.

The planning team thinks of absolutely everything; they listen to your wedding vision and they help you execute it seamlessly. Our coordinator, Lauren, was the biggest blessing during wedding planning. Every question or concern was met with an answer or an immediate solution. I’m going to miss our meetings with her because of how much fun it was to plan our wedding together!
The on-site catering is truly to die for. I have lost count of how many compliments we have received about our wedding dinner. Everything is cooked to perfection, and it is very clear that the kitchen staff cares about presentation as well as taste.
The honeymoon suite, the add-on options like a Colorado whiskey tasting during cocktail hour and a photo booth during the reception, the bridal and groom’s getting ready suites, the signature cocktail options, the dog-friendly environment…. I could go on (and on and on).

I might be biased because I live so close, but Wild Basin Lodge is one of my favorite venues! It's the perfect place for a quintessential "Colorado wedding" with a comfortable, lodge atmosphere and amazing staff. You can customize your wedding experience as much as you want, and it's perfect for the DIY couple OR the couple who wants everything planned for them. If you want somewhere a little more remote with views to die for, check them out!
This venue is simply stunning with an option to marry on the river or with a view of the incredible Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. If you're looking for a true mountain venue, Wild Basin is a must!
Wild Basin Lodge is the perfect location for a colorado mountain wedding. It has a rustic mountain lodge feel, beautiful mountain backdrop, multiple locations for a ceremony, and the Colorado mountain cabin feel. It is about a 0.1 mile to the ceremony location we used. The view was amazing with the mountains in the background. The seating were trees sawed in two and smoothed out and treated. It had a spot for musicians, electrical, and paved paths around the ceremony area. The path there was a wood chip and not for 4inch heels but overall a beautiful and scenic walk. The tables and seating all have the mountain lodge theme. The lodge is alongside a river, close to a lake, and has lots of variety for photography. The rooms looked great and the bridal prep space was ideal with the wrap around mirrors, multiple wall mirrors, and lighting. The Wild Basin Lodge event staff was excellent. Laura was our main point of contact coordinating for the venue. She sync’d up with us at the start of the day and showed us how things would flow with the horse drawn carriage, the flow for the ceremony, and she also recommended some photography locations. Normally when you have someone from the venue driving the coordination you have someone who only seems to care about the venue. At Wild Basin Lodge it was not that way but there was a genuine desire to do more than have things setup and get hot food out on time. There was help with the flow of the day, flexibility, and regular communication. So not only was the food at Wild Basin Lodge excellent and things setup early but the day just seemed to flow well.
