Overall - Great resort, great property, breathtaking views, incredible food, nice rooms and helpful staff. Highly recommend for a wedding or weekend getaway!
I was in OT's cabin for Friday and Saturday night and had called about having some wasp nests sprayed ( I was about to have a shower and informed the front desk, there was no rush that they could come while I was at my rehearsal dinner). The hot water heater seemed to be broken as well as some issue with the A/C. My recommendation - ensure maintenance is completed prior to guest arrival when possible. (i.e. wasps, A/C, and hot water heater). Other than that, cabin was beautiful, great space and wonderful house for a bridal party during wedding festivities!
The breakfast offered in the hotel at $12/guest is quite high, especially considering what is offered. In my opinion, guests who pay anywhere from $149/night to $299/night probably expect a complimentary breakfast and certainly if it is comparable to what was served when we were there. I know personally most of my guests went into Graham for a larger and less expensive breakfast.
Guest welcome bags - these are charged at $3/bag for guests plus tax and gratuity and may only be distributed by guest services. This is a rather lucrative charge certainly for bags that are pre-made and filled with items the people already paid for.
After our wedding ceremony at the pavilion, which was AMAZING, we were trying to take family photos when a non-wedding ranch guest and his friends drove by the site, hanging out of their vehicle cat-calling me, and whistling and shouting at guests as we tried to take photos. I am not sure how they even got down there but they drove by at least twice making quite a scene. I would have preferred if security remained at the pavilion to prevent this from happening while the family and couple tried to enjoy their pictures.

Rude and disinterested staff at front desk. Very unhelpful. Customer service makes the experience. Even all the problems, such as rooms not ready on time, unclean rooms, surprise gratuities on bills, and "free" breakfast that was not free, no wake up calls, clogged toliets--can be overlooked a bit if the staff is apologetic or helpful or even pretends to care. Tried to talk to manager. No returned phone calls. Who runs a business this way? Do not be a hospitality industry if you cant be hospitable.
