The Winnekenni Castle is Beautiful...perfect location for a smaller wedding. The patio is the perfect location for the cocktail hour. The ground keepers will set up all table and chairs but your other vendors will need to set up everything else. The only down side is the castle is not permitted to serve liquor/beer/wine, so you have hire Butlers and Bars to bartend you wedding as well as get a one day liquor license from the city of Haverhill (which Deb from Butlers and Bars will help you with). I absolutely loved this location - the grounds were beautiful - our wedding pictures are awsome with the castle inthe background.

Winnekenni Castle was found at the end of a long vendor search. They were great value for money, tables and chairs were included. Patrick, the caretaker, acted as day-of-coordinator for all our vendors and was a lot of fun to work with. He put up with my last minute "Oh what about this" phone calls with ease. This was a beautiful backdrop for our small unorthodox wedding.

The Winnekenni Castle is a beautiful location for a wedding. That being said, the people that you need to get in contact with to make arrangements are extremely difficult to get in touch with. Many of my calls and messages went unanswered, and the castle keeper was very unprofessional when we finally met with him 2 weeks before my wedding. It is very inexpensive to rent the castle, and overall I thought it was worth the hassle to have my wedding here. The pictures are priceless.
