Facilities and Capacity

Set inside a beautiful, historic mill, Gatherings by Woodberry Kitchen's space is perfect for weddings of 75 – 100 but can accommodate up to 130 people. The spectacular main room features vaulted ceilings, original brickwork, and elegant design touches, with curved brick archways framing French doors that open onto a tented patio, creating a weatherproof indoor-outdoor flow. A private lounge tucked away upstairs includes a get-ready suite and connects to a grand staircase that's fit for dramatic entrances. If desired, the more intimate Tavern can be used to enlarge event capacity or rented for after-parties.

Gatherings by Woodberry Kitchen presents menus sourced from the region's finest organic and sustainable farms. Your guests will enjoy the freshest seasonal produce, pastured meats and poultry, hand-selected fish and shellfish from the Chesapeake and nearby Atlantic, and gourmet ingredients from their maker community. Some of these include world-class cheeses, oils, and vinegars. Unlike many venues that utilize caterers, your meal will be cooked to order and served fresh and hot, steps away from the kitchen. The in-house bar takes the same approach. The team offers classic and creative cocktails made with the highest quality local and regional spirits. In addition, their experienced bartenders select wines from local growers and international winemakers who embrace organic or biodynamic viticulture. As a one-stop-shop, we provide all essential event rentals (and offer extra amenities!), simplifying your planning process.
