YA YA Farm & Orchard is a well cared for eight-acre property that is located in Longmont, Colorado. Here, wedding ceremonies can be surrounded by numerous fruit trees that are composed of delicious variations including, of course, apple. The property’s history began in 1896 when Percy Goss purchased it and then, four years later, started farming the land alongside his wife Jennie. Percy and Jennie later gifted the orchard to their son, Jim, in 1934. Around 40 years after this, the family vacated the property, leaving both the land and Percheron Draft Horses to the next owner. Following this, the year 2003 saw the rebirth of the property. It was then that it opened its doors once more under the name YA YA Farm & Orchard.

Facilities and Capacity

The years 2004 through 2011 saw various revitalizations and expansions across the orchard, creating a beautiful landscape filled with scrumptious apples. While a portion of trees suffered from the 2014 winter freeze, they have since been replanted with the addition of plum, wine grape, and heirloom cider apple species. It is with these gorgeous views in the background that couples can enjoy an unforgettable wedding ceremony. Beyond the farmland, there are mountain peaks that kiss the skyline, embellishing the backdrop further with natural glory. Receptions are welcome as well, the available space holding up to 150 guests.

Services Offered

Couples will have their choice of dinner areas when they host their event at YA YA Farm & Orchard. A long table can be provided for meals in the orchard, a barn can shelter guests from the elements, or a tent can be brought to section off the whole occasion. In addition to human guests, couples will have some aviary and animal witnesses as well. These include the on-site draft horses, miniature donkeys, chickens, and peacocks. When the time comes to enjoy the first dance, it can be had in the romantic and rustic apple barn. If couples desire more group activities, fire pits can be used to facilitate jovial chats between loved ones. To personalize an event further, couples may choose a selection of flowers from the on-location garden, adding to the overall romantic whimsy of the occasion. The owners of this orchard are happy to offer their land for memorable celebrations, both large and small.
