Where do I begin?? Ryan is AMAZING! We used him last year (2015) for our Engagement photos and our Wedding photos. He listened to what we really wanted and helped us come up with ideas on where and how to shoot the photos. He is a friendly, funny guy that is easy to talk to - we got comfortable in front of the camera with him right away. The way Ryan uses natural light in his pictures is beautiful. A year later we are still in LOVE with all of our photos. We chose the wedding package that includes the 4 wood panels, which I highly recommend! We kept 2 for ourselves and gave one to each of our parent's for Christmas. The quality of his photos and prints is ridiculous. We plan to use him for newborn and family photos next!! We can’t begin to say enough about You Look Nice Today Photography and its owner, photographer Ryan Wilcox. From our initial meeting he was the only photographer we met with that really wanted to get to know us, our style and our vision for our wedding before he would talk about pricing and his style. We felt immediately comfortable with him and knew he was our guy. When we shot engagement pictures it just got better. Not only is he extremely personable, but so professional and knows exactly how to get some amazing shots. The shots aren’t controlled and he’s not one of those photographers that tells you to tilt your head a hundred times because they only know one way of getting an amazing picture. At first I thought that maybe we looked so bad he couldn’t possibly begin to tell us what to do to make it look better, but he has such a natural style and ability to capture a moment that every single one of our pictures turned out amazing. At our wedding he and his assistant wowed us again along with all of our friends and family. My bridesmaids raved that from other weddings they had been in, that Ryan had been the easiest photographer they had ever worked with. And even if being such a nice guy wasn’t enough, he takes some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve ever seen. He shoots in all film, which made us nervous at first, but I can’t say enough about how more beautiful it makes his shots. Without a doubt the best investment we made for our wedding. If you want to have beautiful pictures for the rest of your lives, and work with someone that makes the whole day effortless, then Ryan is easily your guy.

OK if you're still unsure for some reason, just know that Ryan maintains a high-level of professionalism, while still keeping a relaxed enough vibe to help your wedding be stress-free.
For example, my wife and I were married outdoors on the Oregon coast in August. The forecast was iffy, and throughout the day it's raining a decent amount. Ryan and his wife are using equipment worth as much as my car, and they showed no hesitation or stress, they just kept a smile and worked to get the right shots.

Again, just look at the quality of work. There is something special about film (they do digital too if that's your thing). We're glad we went with them.
