We are deeply grateful to the incredible musicians of the Yuvi Plena Band for making our wedding day even more magical! Their performance during the transition from our ceremony at Iglesia de San Jose to our cocktail hour/reception at Hotel El Convento was simply unforgettable. It was a surreal moment dancing with our guests, the plenaros, and the locals who joined in singing and dancing along with us. The joy and energy they brought to the streets of Old San Juan put the biggest smiles on our faces. The spontaneity and festivity created a seamless and joyous transition that we will cherish forever. Yuvi Plena Band truly knows how to start a party and bring people together through their music. Thank you for creating such beautiful memories for us and our loved ones. Your talent and spirit added an unforgettable touch to our special day.

A good amount of our wedding guests live in Puerto Rico and are of course familiar with plena, but for the many that traveled to celebrate with us from Wisconsin, Michigan, New York, Florida, California, England, and Guatemala, Yuvi Plena was the absolute highlight. The pleneros and dancers escorted us from our ceremony at La Rogativa to our reception at El Convento, kick-starting our wedding celebration in the best way possible. In addition to the actual performance, coordinating with Adrián was seamless. If you’re having a destination wedding like we did (we’re from Alaska), do yourself a favor and hire these guys! We got married at Casa de Espana and Yuvi Plena completely destroyed the dance floor. They really do get the party going. I’d hire them to go full send at any of my parties, any day!
