Opposites attract. Yeah, its a little cliche, but it's so true in our case.  For those of you that don't know the details, we originally met online.  We chatted over the internet and had many long phone conversations before we decided to meet face to face.  Our first date was very laid back - we took his dog Cali for a walk and watched a movie.  He was such a gentleman!  We quickly discovered that we were very different from each other in a lot of ways - he is into country, I am a little more rock'n'roll, he is a meat-eater, I am a vegan, his political views are conservative, mine are very liberal. But that didn't stop us!  I knew he was a keeper when he went out of his way to find a store that made vegan cheesecake just for me.  We made our relationship official on August 3, 2010.  We have been inseparable ever since. Kyle proposed to me on August 14, 2011.  He took me to the Edgewater Grille in Newburgh.  We had a wonderful dinner which was followed by sitting along the riverfront during the sunset.  We were in the middle of a meaningless conversation when he said he had a question to ask me.  I looked over, thinking nothing of it, and he had a small, white jewelry box in his hand.  It was a wonderful, unexpected surprise!   I screamed "Are you serious?" followed "Of course, I will marry you!".  After that, the happy tears came.  It was perfect.
