DIY preserving bouquet
Jolene in Do It Yourself, on December 29, 2012 at 11:35 PM

I wanted to preserve my bouquet, but didn't know of a company local to do it. So I put it in the fridge until we got home from the honeymoon. We have been back a week, but I had to go back to work...

Most of it went very smoothly. Only about 50 people showed up. We had invited about 160. We had a blast. Danced and had a great time. All the guests that did show had a great time. I did realize...

I think it turned out pretty well, I printed the music on the paper (the song I am walking down the aisle to) and then put the letters on it.

Holder for bouquet?
Jolene in Do It Yourself, on December 7, 2012 at 2:56 AM

I am looking for ideas of a nice flat vase or something to hold my bouquet in the middle of my sweetheart table. I am having a cascading bouquet. Any ideas?

Are cascading bouquets outdated??
Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 28, 2012 at 8:40 PM

I love the way they look and that is what I have ordered, but I haven't seen anyone with one in forever. I also like that it will be big so it will help cover up my fat belly when I walk down the...

For the DIY'ers
Jolene in Do It Yourself, on November 28, 2012 at 9:02 PM

I am not having a ring bearer or a flower girl. I did, however, buy a flower girl basket and a ring bearer pillow before I decided that. So, I would like to use them as decorations at the reception....

Christmas tree sadness
Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 26, 2012 at 7:07 PM

When FH and I started dating it was right before Christmas. I told him that I have always had a real tree and would never even consider having an artificial one. That has been fine for the last four...

Icky wedding ring!!
Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 19, 2012 at 11:34 PM

I took my ring out last night to take some pics and every time I look at it I like it less and less. It is really a wrap and I just don't like it. It was the only one in the store when we got it that...

Seat savers
Jolene in Do It Yourself, on November 19, 2012 at 3:12 AM

I am in the process of making this for the reception. It is so a person won't come back from the buffet or dancing and not have their seat, since they will not have a seating chart. What should I do...

Bridal shower done, final venue meeting done, meeting with photographer done, this Friday meeting with the DJ
Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 12, 2012 at 2:11 AM

Things are going very fast now. So far so good. Just a lot of little details left. If they get done great. If not, the major things are done and I can live without the rest if I have to.

Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 7, 2012 at 9:21 PM

I have a corset back on my dress. When it is laced all the way down the bow goes on the inside. Is that not right?

Bachelorette party conflict
Jolene in Etiquette and Advice, on November 5, 2012 at 3:41 AM

I was informed by one of my bridesmaids that the bachelorette party will be on my birthday. The problem with that is that my FH and I usually spend our birthday's with each other. I hardly want to go...

Just a few decorations for the second party that I will have the Saturday after my wedding. Very, informal, so am trying to do fun stuff.

Jolene in Do It Yourself, on November 3, 2012 at 7:47 PM

My thing is, I don't like wine, so instead of doing wine for our anniversary, I found a nice box and am going to put a bottle of Gentleman Jack in it with two glasses and maybe some candles. Anything...
