The story of Kelly and Sean begins with Kelly meeting Sean at her best friend Andrea's house warming party. Sean just so happens to be Andrea's cousin. Kelly and Sean talked all night long and didn't leave each other's side. They continued to talk after the party and went on a few dates. Then a couple weeks into dating, Sean realized he had a very special girl so he asked Kelly to be his girlfriend. Then, after adventures to his family condo in New Hampshire, a trip to St. John in the Caribbean, and building their first home together (finishing his parents basement into a studio apartment) Sean decided to take it a big step further and propose to Kelly. The proposal was magical and fairytale like. He chose the Friday November 7, the day before her birthday so it wouldn't overshadow her birthday and so there would be two things to celebrate. They were on their way up to NH for her birthday weekend, when Sean decided to stop at Otter Rocks on the Kancamagus Highway. He said he wanted to check out the river (she didn't think it was strange because that was a typical stop for them to make). As they were sitting there admiring the beauty of the Pemigewasset river and light snow falling Sean pulled out a letter he said he wrote for her birthday. The letter was so romantic and at the end it said to close your eyes and make a wish. When she opened them he was holding the engagement ring and asked her to marry him. She was so awestruck and excited and couldn't even make full statements. It was truly perfect.
