  Elopement Photos

  Joel and Sammy photographed our elopement ceremony and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of wedding photographer! From the moment we spoke with them, we knew we were in good hands. Their professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. Joel sent over many examples of galleries with different locations for us to review and see what locations we liked best.
  
  Joel and Sammy have an incredible eye for detail and a knack for capturing the raw emotion and joy of the moment. The final photos exceeded our expectations in every way and were turned around so quickly (less than 2 weeks)! If you're looking for a wedding/elopement photographer in Tampa then look no further. :)

  Fantastic photographers

  WE LOVED JOEL AND SAMMY! We are so glad we worked with them for our May wedding in Jacksonville, and would choose them again and again. Because we live out of state, we did not meet until the day of our wedding, but were instantly comfortable with them. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but Joel and Sammy did a great job helping us relax and enjoy the photo taking. We look happy and most importantly like ourselves in our photos. Joel and Sammy are efficient and professional, and did a great job moving us through each part of the day. The photos themselves are beautiful and bright, and we can't stop looking at them. Would highly recommend!

  absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!!!

  Joel and Sammy could not have been more perfect for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day!!! From the moment we started communicating with them it was clear they are so dedicated not only to their craft, but also each and every couple they take on. They were so easy to reach, quick to respond, extremely understanding with any and all questions we had, and had incredible energy that made it clear they were genuinely excited for our event. On the day of, from the obvious posing / finding perfect spots to shoot, down to even just helping carry the train walking from place to place and even helping with bustling! They were so attentive, sweet, kind, funny, and comforting to be around. They seamlessly fit into our day, led the charge with timelines, and cheered for us as if they'd known us forever! I would easily recommend 28 north to anyone looking for wedding photographers, no hesitation :)

  Best wedding photographers, even better people!! Would recommend to anyone & everyone!

  My husband and I eloped and Joel & Sammy from 28 North documented the entire experience. We can't say enough good things about them!   Wedding Photography

  Joel and Sammy are the dream team!! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and the way they captured our day truly was perfect! Not only are they fantastic photographers but they are both so fun and caring. They provide so much assistance prior to the wedding date, they will help you with basically anything you can think of! On the wedding day they made taking photos so fun and always cheered us on which was so sweet! They also knew every immediate family members name and the bridal party which I think is amazing. They took the time to recognize them and made us feel like we knew them forever! Now to talk about our photos, they KILLED it. They are stunning. Our highlight photos came back in 48hrs like they said and it wasn’t a small amount of photos it was a little over 100 photos! Then all of our photos came back in about 2 weeks! The turn around on the photos was incredible! We sat down and relived our day, and were blown away with how amazing the photos were! We both cannot recommend Joel and Sammy enough! They are so passionate about what they do and you can see it in every step of the way! Love you guys- Crissie and Garrett

  Absolutely Amazing!!!

  We had the absolute best experience with Joel and Sammy for our wedding! From the first meeting to the follow up after the wedding, everything was seamless and perfect. They are the most wonderful couple and their passion for photography shows through every single photo they take. We had so much fun working with them on our wedding day and it felt like we were just hanging out with friends getting our picture taken. They listened to everything we wanted and didn't want and really guided us through all of the photos. We got our final pictures back SO quick and we are just in awe that we get to relive our wedding day forever through these pictures! I highly recommend using them for your wedding, you will not regret it!

  The best in the game

  The quality of their work is a direct reflection of how much they love what they do. They are extremely talented in capturing more than just poses, but raw moments in time that you’ll want to remember forever, & that is hard to find! Our entire wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did if it weren’t for Joel & Sammy’s experience and guidance every step of the way. They gave me and my husband such a sense of peace despite the hectic nature of wedding days. We knew we were in good hands from the very beginning!

  Best Photographers Out There

  We hired Joel and Sammy as our photographers for our wedding this past month and I could not speak more highly of a wedding vendor. Not only are they extremely skilled at their jobs and professional throughout the entire process, they also know exactly which shots you want (and more!) for your big day and shoot them in a way that makes you feel so special. Throughout the entire process, they provided tips and insights on how they shoot and shot ideas as you plan your big day as well which was so helpful.
  
  I had many guests come up to me throughout the night to say how much they loved our photographers positive energy as they bounced around with the crowd capturing all of those important moments. On top of all of this, they delivered our full gallery of photos to us so quickly. Their photos are incredible and I could not have dreamed of such beautiful photos. They are both truly skilled at capturing your wedding day in such a beautiful way and are worth every penny should you choose to book them. We love you guys!

  28 North was absolutely incredible to work with! Leading up to the wedding, they did a fantastic job-sharing important information, asking the right questions, and keeping us organized. They were extremely professional and genuine with every interaction. During the wedding weekend they captured all the rights details, special moment, and important people. They were incredibly kind and efficient, consistently going above and beyond our expectations! We were blown away by the quality of the photos and the quantity- which they turned around for us very quickly! I cannot recommend 28 North enough! One of the best decisions we made throughout the planning process!

  28 north is awesome

  Joel and Sammy from 28 North are excellent. They had previously photographed two of my best friends' weddings, so I immediately knew when we got engaged that I wanted to call them. They were easy to work with and made us feel so special on our big day. My husband and I aren't "picture people," so one of my greatest fears for our wedding day was that we would feel uncomfortable taking so many photos. This was not the case AT ALL with 28 North. Joel and Sammy made us feel so comfortable. I felt like I was hanging out with friends I'd known for years. Joel knew every bridal party member by name, and we had a BIG bridal party! Our pictures are flawless and brought me to tears, they captured our love so perfectly. My husband and I have had so much fun reliving our special day through the photos and will forever be grateful to 28 North for perfectly capturing our day!

  The best photographers! They captured our special day so well.

  Joel and Sammy were amazing to work with from the first day we contacted them. On our wedding day they were so fun to work with and made taking pictures one of our favorite parts of the day.   Dont even think twice!!!

  Like I said in the title, don't even think twice!!! I am not one to write reviews but I knew I had to after my experience with Sammy & Joel PLUS after receiving my FULL album less than TWO weeks after our wedding. Not only was I obsessed with them but we had so many guest during and after the wedding approach us to tell us how great they were. My (now) husband and I don't always love taking pictures because were not photogenic, but they both make you feel extremely comfortable and will walk you through everything to make BEAUTIFUL pictures that capture the moment so well. They're amazing, just trust me!

  November 2023 St. Pete Wedding

  We had the absolute best experience hiring Joel & Sammy for our November 2023 wedding in St. Pete. They are professional, easygoing, great communicators and SO talented!! They made us feel very comfortable and listened to all of our feedback following our engagement shoot for the look/style we wanted for our wedding. Our family was so impressed and hasn't stopped talking about how amazing Joel & Sammy were and how phenemonal the photos turned out. They learned all of our parents and bridal party names so photos were a breeze and Sammy even helped with my dress at several points throughout the day. Cannot say enough good things about 28 North. Highly highly recommend!!

  Joel and Sammy are the best!

  Wow, where do we even begin? Joel and Sammy made our wedding day the best day ever. They did a beautiful engagement shoot for us on the beach, shot the rehearsal dinner, and our wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House. Along the way, they provided so much encouragement and timely responsiveness. While photographing, they are incredibly professional and fun. They know exactly how to pose you so you don’t even have to think about it AND they have so much fun with you and help you truly ENJOY the moment!   Wow, where do we even begin? Joel and Sammy made our wedding day the best day ever. They did a beautiful engagement shoot for us on the beach, shot the rehearsal dinner, and our wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House. Along the way, they provided so much encouragement and timely responsiveness. While photographing, they are incredibly professional and fun. They know exactly how to pose you so you don’t even have to think about it AND they have so much fun with you and help you truly ENJOY the moment! They truly went above and beyond in more ways than I can describe. We cannot thank them enough for capturing our most special moments!! Cannot recommend them enough!!

  Choosing 28 North was one of the absolute BEST decisions we made for our wedding! From the beginning of wedding planning to the end of wedding day, Joel and Sammy were there for us and were the most supportive, calm voice in the chaos. Not only did they provide us with gorgeous photos that we will treasure forever, they are also such a pleasure to work with. Organized, understanding, fun, they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and they captured so many tiny special moments. We are so grateful!

  The best photographers!

  28 north was the most amazing photographers ever. They made us feel so comfortable taking pictures and captured the most beautiful shots. If I could do it all over again I’d choose them again in a heartbeat. The pics all came out gorgeous and had the romantic vibe I was wanting. They were super communicative prior to the wedding as well and made sure to get everything planned out and were so helpful. They are also the sweetest cutest couple.

  Best Wedding Photographers

  Hiring Joel and Sammy at 28 North Photography was easily one of our best decisions we made for our wedding. Highlights: SUCH awesome enegrgy, incredible photos, making my husband and I (naturally awkward in candids) look stunning, and we received our pictures so timely!
  
  Joel and Sammy were willing to travel to us for our engagement shoot so we could have it done at a spot more meaningful to us. They made sure we had so much fun in our photos looking nice as well as letting us be creative. My husband and I are not super familiar being in front of a camera but they made it so easy, fun, and natural.
  Then our wedding day and wedding photos.... I could not have imagined having any other photographers and being nearly as happy with the experience and with the outcome. Sammy did more than just be a photographer, she helped me with my veil and both of them were able to laugh with me and lighten the stress. They both know what they're doing and take the stress away and get everything done. They navigated all of our family photos, even though we have very non traditional family groupings. They had fun with us, it felt like having friends there and they managed to get the perfect poses, locations, and action shots.
  Our photos were not only breathtakingly gorgeous, but we got them back so fast. Thanks to Joel and Sammy, we get to relive our favorite day forever.

  Nothing short of incredible!

  There is no doubt in my mind we made the right decision having Joel and Sammy as our wedding photographers!! They communicated well, had amazing follow through, and we received the pictures very quickly!! All of those things are so important but truly nothing in comparison to the PHOTOS!! SERIOUSLY!   Wonderful and High Quality

  Sammy and Joel were such great photographers to work with! They responded timing and very professional. When I wanted to change things on the photo schedule, they were so helpful and accommodating! They made sure to get a ton of photos with our bridal party, family, friends and just us together! They made us feel comfortable and it was so easy to take pictures and know they would be such high quality!

  You absolutely need to hire 28 North Photography for your wedding!! Not only are Sammy and Joel both awesome people, but they take the most stunning pictures. During the planning process, they always responded to questions quickly and were so easy to work with. We also adore the pictures they captured during our engagement session. On our wedding day, taking pictures was fun, stress-free, and we were ahead of schedule all day! They really listened to what we wanted as far as photography timeline. One of our main requests was to be present at our cocktail hour, not taking pictures during that time, and they made that happen! We have gotten so many compliments from family and friends about how awesome our photographers were and how beautiful our pictures are.   The BEST Photographers in Florida

  From start to finish, our experience with them was flawless. They took our vision of our wedding and created such beautiful memories! There is no better feeling than fully putting your trust into your vendors on the wedding day and having a PERFECT experience. Sammy and Joel curate an environment of peace amidst a traditionally chaotic day. We didn’t feel like they were “taking pictures of us” and more-so capturing different moments and dynamic experiences during our day. I cannot recommend 28North enough!!
