Adrianne Sent on 03/17/2017The PERFECT party band. We first heard 5 on Sunday's at a beer festival in South End in Charlotte. We weren't even looking for a band at that point but were super impressed at how the band was able to cater to the masses with the wide range of music they were able to play. We checked them out one more time at a local bar with some friends to be sure that this was the band for us and they absolutely were. They were a breeze to work with and ended up playing music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. I'm pretty sure I saw EVERYONE out on the dance floor at some point during the evening. They even worked with my husband to learn and perform one of my favorite songs as a surprise. Apparently I had stepped out when they were originally supposed to play the song but realized I wasn't in the room and waited until I returned. My husband (and I) was relieved that I didn't miss the surprise. I would hire this band again in a heartbeat and really hope I have an excuse to use them again in the future or at least hear them play! -
User2275049 Sent on 08/17/20155 on Sunday's were kind enough to travel down to Charleston, SC for our August 2015 Mills House wedding. They were very cool and a few band members introduced themselves when the opportunity arose. Very fun people to be around. They did an absolutely stellar cover of John Legend's "All of Me" for our first dance, put some serious funk into covers of Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk" and Bruno Mars' "Locked out of Heaven", and played their versions of some 90s rap classics, which were crowd favorites! -
User2204196 Sent on 06/30/2015This band played at our son's wedding. Everyone commented about how much fun they had. Several said it was the best band and most fun they've ever had at a wedding! The dance floor was always filled with guests of all ages! Thank you for the best time! -
User1818600 Sent on 09/19/2014Jason and the gang from 5 on Sundays is HANDS DOWN the BEST Wedding band out there. They are one of the reasons our wedding was the best night of our lives. They played everything we asked and more, even if it wasn't on their playlist. They even learned a song on the fly for the ceremony! All of Jason's suggestions were great and made the day so smooth and so special for us. They took care of everything from the ceremony music to the cocktail hour acquistics and then the full band for the reception party. They worked with us on every detail ... they even synced the song "Baby You're a Firework" with the kickoff of our surprise firework display at the perfect moment during the evening.
All of our guests said they were one of the best bands they've ever heard. The dance floor was packed from beginning to end. Hire this band if you want your wedding to be as good as ours was! They absolutely turned our wedding celebration in to one heck of a party!! -
User1948397 Sent on 12/02/20145 On Sundays MADE our wedding! They kept the crowd dancing all night long, and a year later, our friends are still talking about what a fun band we had at the reception. My Dad even decided minutes before the reception that he wanted to change a few of the words of the Father-Daughter dance to make it more personal, and without hesitation, the lead singer adapted and made his (and my) day! My husband and I love to entertain, and music is always at the top of our list of priorities. Our wedding day was no different, and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment that day! We would recommend 5 on Sundays for any event! -
User2288963 Sent on 08/27/2015They were a 5/5... simply amazing wedding experience. They made the entire process, from picking our songs, to executing them the day of, super easy and rememorable. I can't express enough how thankfull we were to have a kick a** band at our wedding!!
