Ben and Gary exceeded our expectations in every way! Ben is an incredibly talented DJ and his set list had everyone at our wedding dancing the entire night. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a blast on the dance floor and nailed it with his final song choices. On top of the Gary is the most professional, caring, and responsive person I have ever worked with. Can not recommend 74 Events and Ben enough! -

The number one thing that my friends & family texted me about the morning after our wedding was how incredible our DJ was, and how spot-on and amazing the music was the whole night—from the cocktail hour to the after party. Even notoriously dancing-shy friends were on the dance floor until the last minute of our after party. That takes real intuition & skill in a DJ—and Daniel has it! We so enjoyed every aspect of working with 74 Events and Daniel as our DJ partner—they’re organized, clear communicators, and most importantly, have incredible taste in music, and a great intuition of precisely what song a dance floor and specific crowd needs at any given moment. We had the absolute best wedding and a huge part of this was because of the music!!! Joel was the perfect match for our wedding and curated an incredible playlist, that ensured every guest didn’t leave the dance floor. Both my wife (wow) and I are musicians and we are snobs when it comes to music. Trust me, the music at our wedding was absolute perfection!
Additionally, leading up to the event, Gary was extremely responsive and professional. Our calls were very informative and prepared us well for the day of. I could not recommend 74events more!!!

We are so grateful to have worked with 74events for our wedding day! They were everything we hoped for! My husband and I did not want a cheesy wedding DJ+ MC disrupting the music or acting silly during our wedding, we wanted to maintain a classy vibe while being very selective of the music we wanted to play at our wedding. Based on our music preferences and taste, we were matched with DJ Rob who was absolutely perfect for us! He listened to all of our of song requests, he was highly professional and only acted as MC when he needed to be/was requested to make certain announcements. Our guests were on the dance floor having a blast and were so happy to have the different range of music play that we requested to be played, especially our Spanish and Portuguese side of the family! They are simply the best and truly know how to keep the party alive. Don’t look any further if you’re like me who is very picky about music and the vibe you want for your wedding. You simply can’t go wrong with 74 events! Thank you a million DJ Rob & Gary! -

James, Gary, and 74 Events were timely, professional, and fun to work with. James was so lovely and personable and really kept our ceremony flowing from start to finish. His kindness exuded when checking in with us throughout the evening. Our speech givers and officiant felt so comfortable with him and he prepped everyone on timing and how to work the mic. Our sound was incredible and once the songs started playing, the party kept going all night long! We got many compliments on the music and transitions and what a fun time we all had. James is guaranteed to make your day so special, smooth, and fun! -

From the first interaction, working with Gary and 74 events was everything we could ask for. Gary was extremely organized and professional throughout the entire process. Then, we met our DJ, Justin Raymund. He has such an easy-going and warm personality and we couldn’t be more excited to work with him to set the vibe for the night. On the day of the wedding, Justin nailed every part of the wedding flawlessly including the procession and even taking part in a funny bit for the best man’s speech! He blended our eclectic music taste so well and added more songs that we didn’t even know we wanted. People were coming up to us all night asking how we found Justin. We all danced and there was music for everyone! Best of all, seeing Justin’s smiles and warm energy put us at ease and we were able to truly enjoy ourselves. We highly recommend 74 events and DJ Justin Raymund! -

74 Events was a great vendor for our wedding, May 5th, 2024. They were recommended by Brooklyn Winery and they were wonderful! Gary does a great job at staying organized and prepped for the day of the event. And then we had DJ Alias (Aaron) as our day of DJ. They gave us a questionnaire to get an idea of what music we liked and didn't like. We gave DJ Alias free range to just play a range of a genre or time frame of music. He played the best of everything for everyone. We would highly recommend hiring 74 Events for your next event! -

Gary was incredibly organized and thorough. We appreciated how he would always check in before calls and was meticulous with the process of working with clients. Gary took the time to listen to what kind of music we were into and recommended James, who perfectly aligned with our vision for our wedding.
James knocked it out of the park with the music and set the tone for the dance portion of our wedding, keeping up the energy up the entire time. The dance floor was never empty, and we had people come up to us asking for tracks/a playlist, claiming that they never do that at weddings. We also appreciated James’ attentiveness to the event as he briefly checked in with us before key moments (entrance, cake cutting, first dance) to ensure we were all on the same page about cues and announcements.
Music was incredibly important to us for our wedding and 74 Events did a phenomenal job! -

74 Events, and specifically DJ Preston Dugger (@djduggz), made our October wedding reception a wonderful experience. Leading up to the event, Gary from 74 Events guided us every step of the way using a well-thought-out questionnaire that gave us a detailed feel for how the reception would work. We then had a call with both Gary and Preston to walk through each step of the night. From that call their depth of experience was evident and we knew we were in good hands. Fast forward to the wedding, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Once the reception began, Preston took us and our guests through a well-orchestrated evening of great music, no technical issues, clear / concise announcements and an overall wonderful vibe, seamlessly transitioning from background accompaniment for dinner to more energetic music drawing everyone to the dance floor. He was sure to play our favorite pre-selected songs and tie everything together. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about our DJ. 74 Events and Preston truly elevated our wedding! -

We had a great experience working with 74 Events for our wedding reception back in December 2023. Gary's organization, communication and professionalism was invaluable during an otherwise stressful planning process. Our DJ Dan was also fantastic - he helped us think through the vibes we wanted and not only played everything on our list but also built an awesome atmosphere with a set list based on our preferences. The format of our wedding was also untraditional and both Gary and Dan worked closely with us to make sure that it was the perfect night and gave us extremely helpful insight, ideas and advice. The highest recommendation of 74 Events for your wedding or any other event! -

We cannot recommend 74 Events strongly enough! Gary is incredibly organized and professional and made sure everything ran smoothly from our first meeting through to the wedding and any follow-up afterward. The DJ he connected us with, Roland, was EXCELLENT. Roland met with us before the wedding, to get to know us and our music tastes, and he did an INCREDIBLE job at the wedding. The music was a great reflection of what we said we liked and songs we added to our playlist (but he went beyond our playlist, which we appreciated), AND he executed it all so well—songs faded into one another so there were no awkward quiet moments; he started things off with music our parents would want to dance to; and the vibe just got better from there :) We've gotten SO many compliments from people at our wedding on how great the DJ was!!
I have already recommended 74 Events to another friend getting married this year and would recommend them again and again.
