Alison made sure that she knew every detail of our wedding day and asked us about any special photos we wanted her to take. I knew that I didn't have to worry about my wedding pictures because I knew Alison would get every shot I was hoping for. A wedding photo preview was ready less than 2 weeks after the wedding and we received the rest of our pictures in a very timely manner. I was extremely happy with A changing perspective after seeing all of our wedding photos and for their professionalism on our wedding day. The BEST part came when we received our wedding album! It was incredibly done! It went from the start of the day to the end and every picture complimented the others on each page. You can tell how much time Alison spent on making the album perfect! It captures our wedding day/night perfectly! I will treasure it forever!

The overall experience with Alison from start to finish was great and her photographs were fantastic. She has a great eye and unique ideas for poses. We just received our photos and everyone agrees that the album looks like it belongs in a magazine. We couldn't be happier!

From our initial phone consultation, I knew Alison was going to be my wedding photographer! She was so warm and friendly on the phone and genuinely excited!! I felt like she was a longtime family friend instantly! She offers wonderful packages that were so affordable (especially considering her unbelievable talent and all she does and gives you with the package). We met up at my venue a few weeks-months prior to the wedding and discussed photo ops, which added to my excitement and my confidence that she was the photographer for me! She was wonderful! On the wedding day, she really shinned and caught every moment perfectly! Every single one of my family members have been married in our family church and the shots she captured made the church look AMAZING and my mom say, "Is that our church?" She just made it POP! Our photos are stunning and I could not be happier! I also loved her partners and the videographer she worked with! We love our video! She is such a loving person and it shows in her work! She created our Thank You's in such an impressively timely manner that I had my Thank You's out in 2 weeks out from the wedding! And everyone was blown away! I was blown away! She made everything so easy for me! Then when the gorgeous books came- I fell more in love with her and her work! I have never seen a wedding book with as much pictures that she gives her brides! There are so amazing!!! She went above and beyond!!! My husband's parents are divorced and she threw in a 3rd parent book for free because she is just that thoughtful!! She is truly amazing and I can't say enough! I would recommend her to every single bride-to-be! You will be thrilled with Alison!!!! I was!!!!!

Definitely book A Changing Perspective!! From start to finish, Alison was so helpful in helping us plan out timing of our day. She was genuinely interested in our vision for the day and listened when we said we didn't want formal pictures, and we really wanted to emulate us as a couple on our wedding. She was easy going with our change of plans, and had some great ideas for different events throughout the day and night. The photos she captured were amazing, and we all look natural and happy. Everyone felt so comfortable with Alison, and she made us all laugh and enjoy the picture portion of the day (even the wedding party commented on how much fun they had taking pictures!). We absolutely love our photos. The albums came back quickly, were beautiful, and we can't stop looking at them reliving our amazing day. Other couples have commented on how nice the albums are, especially how many photos Alison included with them. Our wedding planning and wedding day would not have been the same without A Changing Perspective. Thanks for everything!!

Finding a photographer was not a service we we're willing to compromise on and after our first meeting with Alison, we knew A Changing Perspective was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. Alison and her team were amazing! They made us feel so comfortable and truly captured our wedding day beautifully. We have so many incredible pictures, it's hard trying to put together an album - we want to print all of our pictures! She has a great style and her creativity and vision really shine through in all of our posed photos, candids and shots of our decor and scenery. We would absolutely recommend Alison and A Changing Perspective to anyone!

From soup to nuts, Alison is an excellent wedding photographer and consummate skilled professional! She captured the reception of my New York City wedding with ease of skill, and with a pervasive pleasantness, and at a reasonable price. She was thorough, understood who was who in the family and took photos accordingly. Alison was always a pleasure to work with before, after and during the event; taking my preferences into account and giving sound advice. Her final work shows an artistic eye that captures the romance of my wedding day. Her photo editing and enhancement skills are top notch. I would recommender her without hesitation to any bride or groom who wants to rest assured that their wedding photos are in good hands!

Alison and her team did an amazing job at our wedding on 5/16/15. She was able to capture moments that I never would have thought to photograph and really is able to capture spontaneous shots instead of just posed ones (which I really prefer).
Alison also put together our wedding album which came out amazing! I never would have had the time or patience to narrow down my favorite shots, but luckily Alison was able to choose everything for us and the end result was better than I ever could have done on my own.
I can not say enough good things about Alison and her team! Your wedding day goes by so quickly and there is nothing better than being able to look back at your pictures and relive the happiest day of your life. Thank you for everything Alison!

We had a wonderful wedding and one of the best parts about it was our photographer Alison. She was fun and didn't make you feel stressed at all throughout the day, and it RAINED on our wedding day! But Alison helped us make the best of it :)

Alison is very professional and makes you feel very comfortable. She was not pushy at all and didn't annoy you which is huge since I have been in weddings where the photographers have been very pushy and annoying.

Her pictures were fantastic and the wedding album she made for us is exactly what I hoped for. It's one of the best wedding albums I've seen, with so many pictures!

I would highly recommend her for anyone and everyone!

We booked Alison for our wedding after she did such an amazing job on our engagement photos. She knows her trade/craft/art inside and out. Every picture she takes is perfect. she know how to set you up in the perfect poses, and gets fantastic candid shots, too. The detail in the final results is amazing. Our wedding was in July and it was hot. We wanted outside pictures, the ceremony and reception were outside as well. We (my bride and I) were hot and sticky, uncomfortable and irritable; overall we were probably bride-and-groom-zilla. Alison was upbeat and accommodating the whole time. She found work-arounds for every issue as if she knew they were going to come up. Her directions were perfect, all the shots she set up came out great (even the simultaneous jumping one); we look like we're stress free and comfortable thanks to her! There wasnt one picture that we can remotely complain about.

She's so energetic, its like we had 2 or 3 photogs; she was everywhere. All the big moments that everyone remembers, she caught them all. No small task at an 80 person wedding in a tiered reception hall. She also did a music video (in HD, of course) so we can show it around to people with our phones. Its an awesome idea, and it came out wonderfully, She even made it look like I can dance, lol.

Planning was great, too. We had a few calls with her about package options, and wedding day time frames. We were able to txt her or email or facebook msg her about whatever was on our minds and she got back to us immediately with answers and options.

End all, be all, her work is art, and she is excessively passionate about it. She knows how to get you the finished product you want, and makes you enjoy the process. Hire her. She is, without doubt, the best.

A Changing Perspective gave us such an amazing photography experience and my husband and I would highly recommend their services. Alison was so creative and professional and took amazing quality of photos and video. Rather than a cheesy wedding video, she recommended a music video to a song of our choice, which was so well done and unique. Our wedding book that came with our package was absolutely beautiful and had a very modern look. My husband and I are actually rather picky and we were very pleased with the quality of service, finished products, and the experience overall, We would recommend this service to anyone and I really can't express just how happy we were with A Changing Perspective. I have seen friends photos, books, and videos and none it it came close to the quality of service we received. Thanks so much to A Changing Perspective for the beautiful memories : )

Alison at A Changing Perspective Photography was such an integral part of our wedding. She took amazing photos of our event. The pictures not only recorded the events as they happened but they also captured the feelings and emotions of the moments. Her style is fresh and modern without loosing the classic quality that we really wanted for our wedding photos. Alison is very professional and she has a talent for photography that gave her photos a special glow. We had never had professional pictures taken and she was able to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Your wedding is only one day. The things you have afterward are the great memories and the photos. Make sure the photos are great. I would definitely recommend Alison at A Changing Perspective Photography to make sure you get the best pictures of your amazing day.

Our wedding was 4/26/14 at the Estate at East Wind, and we are so happy that we found Alison and that she traveled that far out on Long Island for our wedding.

She was great to work with, and everyone loved her. We got all the pictures we wanted, from getting ready all the way through the reception. Everything was simple and very natural, which just made the pictures look ever better because everyone was genuinely happy. There is 1 of my family that we all agree is the best picture of our family (possibly ever!).

We received all our photos and 3 books (1 for us, 2 parent books), just about 2 months after the wedding, which is unheard of. We were hearing 4-6 months from other people, which is crazy. The book Alison made was beautiful! We just picked the cover picture and title, and the rest was all Alison's doing. I think she picked every single one of our favorite pictures, and we didn't even have to tell her what to use. It was great.

We would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. You will be more than happy with how your day goes and the end product!!

We were very lucky to have found Alison as our photographer for our pre-wedding shooting in NYC. Before our trip to USA, it took us a while to search for a good photographer that we could trust....fortunately, we found Alison and contacted her for the details. And when we met her for the photo shooting in NYC she was very professional and flexible with the time and everything as I wanted to change a few dresses during the shooting. She was so nice and sweet trying to help make it easier for us for the poses and so on...She was very friendly and always had her ways to make us laugh while she was taking our pictures..and of course, we LOVE all the pictures she took. They all look very natural with perfect light and view..some of my friends already asked me for her contact information for their pre-wedding photo shooting in their next trip in NYC. She did a great job & she is highly recommended! we love her!

Alison was amazing from start to finish! Her attention to detail was amazing. We could not be happier with our album, video and pictures. Alison is a fantastic photographer who really has an eye for beautiful and interesting shots. She wasn't shy about getting as many pictures of our wedding day as possible, she really gets in there with guests and is great with kids. Alison was super efficient about getting our photographs back to us quickly after our wedding. I would definitely recommend her to other brides!

My husband Paul and I are so grateful that we hired Alison to capture our wedding day. She did such an amazing job- the formal shots were very creative and simple at the same time.
The candid pictures truly captured the special moments! All of the guests loved her, and she work well along side all of the other vendors.

Our wedding day was a once in a lifetime experience and looking at the pictures brings back so many wonderful memories. There was nothing Alison forgot to shoot. The location, food and every single guest and part of the wedding were not forgotten about!
Alison is a genius with what she did with the pictures, you could tell all of the time that was spent retouching and editing. Alison is reasonably priced and was such a pleasure to work with, very accommodating and prompt with answering phone calls and emails. The pictures came back in a timely manner and she even made a photo book for us, which is very time consuming so probably would not have been accomplished without her!

We are having a baby girl in April and cannot wait to hire Alison again! I would recommend her over and over again.

Alison is such a friendly and creative photographer. My wedding album photos are out of this world gorgeous. She made taking photos something fun and easy instead of a chore. My daughter (age 4 at the time) was our flower girl. She had so much fun being photographed by Alison that she still talks about her!
Our wedding photos are unique and exactly the vision I wanted for my wedding album. I would highly recommend Alison for someone looking for a creative and flexible photographer.

Alison captured every important aspect of our wedding and from a completely different perspective than what everyone is used to. Our favorite types of pictures are candids, which is where she shines. We never felt that she was 'in the way' on the day of our wedding...in fact we barely knew she was around most of the time. Not until we received our pictures did we realize all of the small details and intimate moments that she was able to capture. The color and quality of each photo was amazing. We look at our wedding photos all the time...and each time we are more grateful than the last to have had her capturing such great moments from our special day. We would recommend her services to anyone!

Alison truly captured the essence of our whole wedding day. She listened to our vision and made it come to life. We had a large bridal party and Alison had no trouble getting everyone together, taking tons of pictures, and keeping everyone focused and happy. She captured all the emotions of the day including the fun and silliness that define my husband and my relationship. Alison was extremely dedicated to getting the best shots during the wedding and afterwards when it was time to make our album. The pictures Alison enhanced and compiled in our album are still a centerpiece in our house almost 4 years later. I highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for an enthusiastic and talented wedding photographer!

A wedding is something that a little girl dreams of and on the day of my wedding, I happened to meet Allison for the first time. Not only did she come with my email that I sent to the company I was originally working with for inspiration but she also listened to every other shot I wanted to take. Allison took mostly all of my favorite shots; which include a picture of my husband and I sitting on the church steps with our sunglasses on, a Superhero themed shot with all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen and a special shot of my bridesmaids and I sitting at my Maid of Honors backyard table. Allison made sure that we were extremely comfortable while taking pictures, which is something important for your big day. If I had to do it all again, the first person I would go to would be her for photography.

Alison took beautiful pictures for both our engagement photos and wedding. She was friendly, and made the picture taking experience very comfortable for two people who don't always like being the center of attention. All of the photos we wanted, she made sure we got. She has great ideas for photos too. The only negative was that she was late for both photo sessions. She was stuck in Friday night NYC traffic the date of the engagement pictures which is understandable. However she was also 10 minutes late on our wedding day, which is a stressful enough day. We still got most of the photos we wanted, but on a tightly scheduled day at the moment nerves ran the highest, it would have been nice not to worry about that. Overall a positive experience.
