BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. They did such a wonderful job and were so caring. Approxinately $9,000 for 310 guests at one of the cheaper meals. The food was rich and hearty.

Oh my gosh! Where to begin?

This venue is beyond beautiful! My new husband and I will never ever forget the beauty of our special day. The owner, Patti, has now become like a family friend! So kind and personable! She put so much effort into making sure that my day would be beautiful and stress-free! She went above and beyond to make sure that I would not have much at all to worry about during the ceremony and reception.

The rustic farm feel was perfect! There are many wheat fields near the property, a big red barn that is very well taken care of, a dance patio, rustic decorations, a koi pond with a waterfall, lush green grass and large shade trees! I knew as soon as I saw the venue, that I had found the perfect place to marry my best friend.

Many of our guests had told us that A Touch of Country was the best venue they had ever been to for a wedding and that it was extremely beautiful!

We were invited to attend a wedding at this venue. We researched the web site and asked one of the family about taking a small dog to the wedding. We were traveling and there was no place to leave the dog as it was very hot and parking was in an open wheat field. About 5 minutes before the wedding was to start a somewhat overweight woman with a name tag told us to leave the wedding because we had a dog. I asked why and she told me that it was due to liability and insurance issues. There was no mention of this on the web site and nothing posted on the property. We drove over 1300 miles and spent over $650 to attend this wedding. There was no accommodation, no discussion, no exceptions. Bear in mind this was a 15 pound dog on a short leash under constant control of the owner. I suspect that this woman was making up rules as she went along as she offered no proof of her claims. I chose to not challenge her stupid remarks as I didn't want to make a scene and embarrass the family and the bride and groom. If you use this venue (and really enjoy wheat dust and silly rules) make sure you understand all the gotchas. Otherwise you will have some very pissed off guests.
