The Rockstar of our Wedding
Cinthy was our wedding coordinator and our hero. She was beside us every step of the way offering us recommendations for vendors and ideas for the layout of our backyard event. She helped formulate our timeline and lead our rehearsal of the ceremony ensuring everyone knew where they were supposed to be and when. When the big day came, she managed all of the curve balls that were thrown her way (and, there were a few...) including out-of-service-lavatories, unprepared bartenders, bridesmaid wardrobe malfunctions and one crazy DJ. Despite all this, she managed with apparent ease and made sure that the stress wasn't on us as the bride & groom. Big shout out to her assistant as well who did plenty of heavy lifting (both literally and metaphorically). I was so impressed at how fast and efficient they were at rearranging the tables / chairs between the ceremony and reception and then cleaning up at the end of the night.
I could not have enjoyed my wedding half as much as I did if it weren't for Cinthy and A Touch of Grace.

Stress-Free Service!
Cinthy and her assistant flew to Minnesota for a wedding at Hope Glen Farm in Cottage Grove. As a venue manager, she was so organized and polite. We really enjoyed having her to help our bride and groom have the best experience. If you are on the fence, please read this and book her! Amazing coordinator who gets everything done!
Cinthy was a great coordinator and really helped us bring all the logistics together. She was invaluable in last two weeks before our wedding and stepped up in big ways on the actual weekend to get whatever needed to be done DONE. In the months before the wedding we corresponded mostly over email, which could be scattered at times but worked fairly well. She went with us to choose our rentals and was very helpful during that process with opinions, context, and things she knew about our venue because she had worked there before. She was also helpful at the venue walk through with the caterer. As we got closer to the wedding she really turned it on, managing many different active email threads and staying on top of all the varied requests from us and our vendors. She provided us a ‘to bring’ list that was very helpful for the wedding weekend and she even had some items we were able to borrow from her so we didn’t’ have to spend money on them. She started working directly with our vendors in the final weeks and coordinating with them, which took a lot of the admin work off us. On the wedding weekend, she was there early and the last to leave through the whole weekend. Her attitude was consistently that she would get things done and handled random needs as they occurred, like getting more simple syrup when the bar started running low or sending one of her helpers to pick up our late night pizza from a nearby Round Table. She also came back early Sunday morning and helped to set up brunch. After the wedding, while we were abroad on our honeymoon, she dealt with our rentals vendor who incorrectly charged us for missing items and showed up in person to the venue to doublecheck that items hadn’t been left (they hadn’t). She fought the battle, got the incorrect charge taken off the bill, and then sent us an email to let us know it was handled. Overall she was so pleasant and helpful to work with and we REALLY appreciated everything she did – we would highly recommend Cinthy and A Touch of Grace!Cinthy was a great coordinator and really helped us bring all the logistics together. I cannot say enough good things about Cinthy and her team. Simply put, she made our wedding.
When we began the planning process, we weren't sure we even wanted/needed a wedding planner. I'm a very neurotic person who fancies herself great at planning. I make a spreadsheet for almost everything in my life and plan everything. Despite that, Cinthy was still 100% necessary.
We opted for the wrap-around service that starts a couple months before the wedding. Even though we didn't get the full-service package, Cinthy was always available and kept track of all our vendors.
Heading into the wedding was a breeze with Cinthy. Cinthy kept track of all the details, kept me calm and on track. Cinthy was not only keeping track of all the details flying around, she was a great sounding board. One of the big disadvantages of weddings is that you really don't have much context for what's normal and when a vendor is taking advantage of you. Cinthy is that back-up that every bride needs.
Cinthy proved her worth time and time again leading up to the wedding but I was blown away by her dedication, patience, and just plain magic on the wedding day. Starting with her disposition, she was flawless. She was firm with vendors but calming with me.
One of the most amazing things Cinthy and her team did was handle the photo booth. Our photo booth vendor cancelled at the last minute (the afternoon before or the morning of). Cinthy handled it with such poise that I had no idea they cancelled until she found a replacement. One of Cinthy's best qualities is she intuitively knows what she can take care of and what she should get my input on.
Finally, Cinthy is just great to work with. She's hilarious, sweet, tenacious, and so much more. My husband says that Cinthy's the type of person that you'd want to be friends with after your wedding. I couldn't agree more. Thank you so much for all of your amazing work!

So the address on their website shows Walnut Creek, but here on Wedding Wire shows Dublin but the website and phone numbers do match. Either way we didn't have to travel to the office anyhow. We live in San Francisco and Halina was able to meet us in San Francisco for our initial meeting and then in Burlingame every time after that - where our Ceremony & Reception were being held.

Like most couples, we didn't think we needed a planner until about a month before the wedding. We had a pretty short engagement (6 months), and the very first things we did were to select a venue and then find Cinthy! We went with the full planning package, and are glad that we did. From the very first day, she worked with us to understand our style and vision for the wedding. Both of us had a vague idea of what we wanted, and Cinthy knew just the questions to ask to help us refine our plans. She had great suggestions for all of the details (table layouts, flowers, card box, etc). Cinthy also has the absolute *best* vendor recommendations, and all of the vendors love her! We could tell that everyone was truly pleased to be working with her on the wedding. I can't blame them -- her excitement was catching and her attitude was so positive during all our meetings!
Cinthy is extremely organized, and everything came together so smoothly on the wedding day. She came with two assistants and a detailed timetable, and kept everything moving stress-free. She even brought a tray of yummy snacks to make sure all the ladies were eating during the day! We were so lucky to have all of the details taken care of -- our family kept going on and on about how effortless everything felt.

From start to finish, Halina from A Touch of Grace made my wedding planning so easy. My engagement was only 9 months and I was starting to feel very stressed out and overwhelmed by the whole process. Halina eased all my anxieties. She kept me on track by constantly checking in and was always there to answer any question I had throughout the planning process. I used ATOG for my day-of coordination but they did so much more. Halina and I had multiple meetings where she consistently went above and beyond for me. We went over every wedding detail together and she set up the most amazing timeline that had every detail planned out to a T.
On the day of my wedding, Halina could not have made things run more smoothly. Every single part of the day went perfectly. She showed up in the morning with breakfast for me and my bridesmaids and made sure every vendor showed up on time. She was even there to save the day when my custom veil got caught by a gust of wind in the park and flew into the bushes! Halina kept everyone on time and ensured that everyone in the bridal party knew where they were supposed to be at every point throughout the day. We were even running ahead of schedule at one point!
Every aspect of my ceremony and reception were set up beautifully and exceeded every expectation I had. Her and Dawn made my vision come to life. I cannot thank A Touch of Grace enough for keeping me sane and making my wedding day so stress free which made it truly memorable. Cinthy Walsh from “A Touch of Grace” was amazing & our wedding would not have been as great without her!
B/c of our busy schedules & short engagement, we decided to get a wedding coordinator – especially as we were planning our wedding in the SF Bay Area from LA. We needed someone who would work with us mostly online & on the phone, & Cinthy did our initial meeting via FaceTime. She has a great energy about her & was very enthusiastic about helping us plan a multi-cultural wedding which included a Christian ceremony, a Hindu/Indian ceremony, lunch, a Chinese banquet, & the reception.
Cinthy understood our Indian/Chinese traditions, timeline, budget, OCD tendencies, & our family dynamics. After our initial conversation, she sketched out a plan for what our needs would be. She then put together a very detailed timeline & budget, so that we would meet our goals, without feeling overwhelmed with decisions.
Both my fiancé & I wanted to be very involved with making decisions, selecting vendors, & working on details – especially me. She was able to assess our requests, had fantastic vendor suggestions, & researched vendors we found. She was a great asset in going over vendor contracts to make sure that they incl. everything we needed. Her vendor suggestions were high quality, professional, & gave us quotes which allowed us to maximize our budget. In reflecting on our wedding, we loved all the vendors that we worked with, many of whom we only found because of Cinthy’s suggestions.
Throughout the entire process, we were able to meet with her in person, as well as teleconference at frequent intervals and email back & forth.
On the day of the wedding, everything went flawlessly. On top of that, we've received tons of compliments on how our wedding was one of the best weddings they've attended, and how smoothly everything went – that would definitely not be the case w/o Cinthy. I'm a control freak by nature. I'm very particular about how I want things to go. With that said my mother and sister were concerned that on my wedding day I would not be able to enjoy it because I would be too concerned with making everything go my way. Enter, Melissa and Amber from A Touch of Grace.
My mom and I chose to go with the Wrap Up service because I had done much of the planning ahead of time. I met Melissa and Amber in November and even though my wedding wasn't until July 30th and they weren't to officially take over everything until May, they were constantly in touch. E-mailing me every few weeks just to make sure I was doing ok and not too stressed. They also gave me suggestions when I had trouble finding vendors, answered etiquette questions, listened to my concerns and offered suggestions.
By the time we began meeting in person in May, they had everything under control. They would give me To Do Lists of things I needed to accomplish before I met with them next. Melissa became the primary contact person so all of the timeline coordination and questions from vendors went through her. Because we had gotten to know each other through e-mail, they could have answered most of the questions on their own, but they made sure to get my approval before making any decisions.
Weeks before my wedding, everyone was amazed at how calm and relaxed I was. It was all due to the two women at A Touch of Grace. Because of them, I didn't have anything to worry about. I only had to occupy my time with my family and my future husband. They picked up all of my decorations for the ceremony and reception a week prior to the wedding.
The day of the wedding, Melissa brought me breakfast and lunch. Her and her assistant ensured that everyone was where they were supposed to be at the appointed time and were doing what they were supposed to do, leaving me to have a relaxing morning and afternoon. My wedding went off without a hitch, it was beautiful and wonderful, and I had a blast. As needed, Melissa gently ushered me from one activity to the next, (cake cutting, garter toss, dances, etc.) She also made sure the photographer, DJ, and videographer were doing their jobs and kept them on time. I'm sure the poor thing was exhausted by the end of the night. When it was time to leave, Melissa had collected my veil, heels, purse, and room key and put everything in our car back to the hotel. (Which was good because I had forgotten about all of those things.) My husband and I arrived in our hotel room to a bed covered in petals, a bag of samples of our wedding decorations, pieces of our wedding cake and a midnight snack. It was one of the most thoughtful gifts I received that entire night. Even weeks after the wedding they are still assisting me with things.
Organized, wonderful, professional, classy, thoughtful, sweet and considerate are all words to describe Melissa and Amber. However there aren't enough words to describe the wonderful service and peace of mind they gave me in the weeks leading up to my wedding and especially on that day.There should be more stars available.

Melissa became the primary contact person so all of the timeline coordination and questions from vendors went through her. Because we had gotten to know each other through e-mail, they could have answered most of the questions on their own, but they made sure to get my approval before making any decisions.
Weeks before my wedding, everyone was amazed at how calm and relaxed I was. It was all due to the two women at A Touch of Grace. Because of them, I didn't have anything to worry about. I only had to occupy my time with my family and my future husband. They picked up all of my decorations for the ceremony and reception a week prior to the wedding.
The day of the wedding, Melissa brought me breakfast and lunch. Her and her assistant ensured that everyone was where they were supposed to be at the appointed time and were doing what they were supposed to do, leaving me to have a relaxing morning and afternoon. My wedding went off without a hitch, it was beautiful and wonderful, and I had a blast. As needed, Melissa gently ushered me from one activity to the next, (cake cutting, garter toss, dances, etc.) She also made sure the photographer, DJ, and videographer were doing their jobs and kept them on time. I'm sure the poor thing was exhausted by the end of the night. When it was time to leave, Melissa had collected my veil, heels, purse, and room key and put everything in our car back to the hotel. (Which was good because I had forgotten about all of those things.) My husband and I arrived in our hotel room to a bed covered in petals, a bag of samples of our wedding decorations, pieces of our wedding cake and a midnight snack. It was one of the most thoughtful gifts I received that entire night. Even weeks after the wedding they are still assisting me with things.
Organized, wonderful, professional, classy, thoughtful, sweet and considerate are all words to describe Melissa and Amber. However there aren't enough words to describe the wonderful service and peace of mind they gave me in the weeks leading up to my wedding and especially on that day. -

We worked with Dawn and her assistant Amber for our June wedding recently (6/4/11). Dawn has the perfect personality for an event planner. She so easy to work with and talk to. Anytime my mom and I were unsure about any part of the wedding details, Dawn would make suggestions that made so much sense. She was never overbearing and she always came up with solutions for details that needed attention. Dawn and Amber are a great team, so responsive and proactive about reminding me of things I wouldn't have thought about until it was too late. As we approached the wedding date, Dawn really kicked things into high gear and coordinated everything down to the minute. However, she let me design the wedding through my own vision. Our wedding turned out to exceed our expectations by a long shot. The fees are very reasonable and the service is FIRST CLASS. I will recommend A Touch of Grace to my friends for all occasions. We definitely recommend A Touch of Grace to anybody planning a large event because they made sure that we two, plus our guests had a wonderful time. We originally hired them for a “Jump Start Coordination” to help us find a venue and define the overall vision, then to step in again to assist with the final planning stages & day-of coordination. However, the first coordinator assigned to us didn’t work out, and Melissa had to step in and take over. Not only was Melissa on top of things and supremely organized, but A Touch of Grace were extremely flexible and supportive. They were very helpful in finding vendors, coordinating with those vendors, creating to-do lists and keeping us on task. At times it seemed as though A Touch of Grace had accepted too many clients, and Melissa had a lot on her plate. But she handled it very well, and we ended up with a wonderful day. We could not have managed to pull this off without their help.

Melissa helped us bring all of the elements and vendors together, and made sure our day went smoothly and on schedule. A Touch of Grace handled everything for wedding day; from setup and takedown, to coordinating guests & shuttles, to making sure dessert was served on time. We chose to use Melissa’s talents for all of our flowers, and all turned out beautifully.
All of our guests have complimented us on how impressed with A) how beautiful everything looked, B) how we seemed to be so relaxed, and C) how much fun they had! This was all because everything ran smoothly thanks to Melissa and company!

We worked with Melissa from A Touch of Grace and had the wrap up package, so she started two months in. I highly recommend her and having a day of coordinator. Cinthy and her team were awesome!! I hired Cinthy as a month of wedding planner, but she was easy to get ahold of and responsive via email for more than just the month before the wedding, and was incredibly approachable and professional. Since I was planning the wedding long distance, this was incredibly helpful. She helped keep me on track during the planning process, answered any questions I had, and really helped relieve a lot of the last minute stressors. The day of our wedding could not have turned out better if we tried, and Cinthy and her team played a huge role in that!!!Cinthy and her team were awesome!! I had a terrible experience working with Cinthy from A touch of Grace. Your wedding planner is supposed to take the stress out of wedding planning and make your life easier, right? Yup, that is what I thought too. But this was not the case with Cinthy. I am not the type of person to get stressed out- I am very level-headed, but working with Cinthy made me stressed and overwhelmed. I would say I wanted things one way, and she would do THE EXACT OPPOSITE. At first, I thought maybe it was me- things kept going wrong, so I felt I had to reflect and make sure I was being clear. At that point, I sent all of my correspondence with Cinthy to friends and family members who were helping and they confirmed it was not me, it was indeed Cinthy. And, to top it off, once she started to included other vendors, they would call me asking for clarification because what Cinthy was sending them did not make sense at all (Ramekins, who was great, could not figure out why she had the floor plan the way she did- it was not as we discussed. The Photographer (KREATE- AMAZING!) said the timeline was completely off. and the list goes on.) We even had our officiant and the company doing our dessert complain directly about her to us. I would NOT recommend you work with this company, especially if they assign you Cinthy as your planner. Our wedding did come together the day of, but that was due completely to our other vendors and my bridesmaids stepping up to the plate to get shit done. I hate writing negative reviews. But, my wife and I feel like we shouldn't subject anyone else to this level of incompetence.
At first, as a soon-to-be-husband, I thought my fiancé might be being a bit harsh. It's a stressful time and people can get a bit overzealous. That was until I started to deal with Cinthy and Touch of Grace.
I won't detail ALL of the mistakes, misunderstandings and blunderings that ensued over the course of planning.
But, just a sliver of the possible examples, we had fourteen members in our bridal party....she sent us a schedule with four people. After walkthrough, she sent us a schematic that was entirely off: Incorrect placement of tables, wedding party and alter. The coupe de grace??? She sent the DJ off for dinner right before we needed music, microphones, etc. No kidding she told the DJ to take his break at the exact opposite time than any lucid adult would do.
Let's suffice to say that Cinthy added lots more stress to the planning than necessary. Ultimately, my wife instructed her to only send information to her mother. My bride then did the only thing possible, she planned everything herself (with the help of her mother and our friends).
We complained to Cinthy many times. We asked her very nicely to pay better attention, communicate better and listen to our direction. They did provide another planner the day of, her name was Amanda. And, she was helpful and capable.
One last tidbit, we asked for at least some our money back as Touch of Grace essentially charged us to plan our own wedding. Touch of Grace asked us to please privately tell them about what we didn't like. But, that we would receive no refunds. I'm not entirely sure how they have good reviews.
Touch of Grace couldn't pay me enough to not tell others about how miserable they were in the process. We had an amazing wedding, really one of the supreme highlights in my lifetime, despite these incompetents.I hate writing negative reviews.
