  I started searching for a hair and make-up artist a little more than 3 months in advance of my wedding date and was surprised to find many of the ones in my area already booked. It was lucky that Page Berse of Absolutely Fabulous Glamour Studio was still available. At our trial, she was professional, friendly, and completely willing to adapt to my preferences and requests, including pausing at various points throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the results. With some of the other artists I’d researched, I was concerned about looking too artificially made up, but this was not an issue with Page. Her more natural style allowed for flawless make up while ensuring that I still looked like me.
  
  On my wedding day, Page arrived early and was well prepared. She did a beautiful job on my hair and make-up, replicating our trial almost exactly in about the same amount of time (even though I decided to also add in real hair extensions, which she prepared, styled, and incorporated into my hair so that they blended perfectly and naturally). I chose a half-up, half-down, side-swept look for my hair with a partial braid and soft curls. Some of the looser curls around my face fell out a little bit, but I didn’t feel like it detracted from my overall look.
  
  In addition, Page’s sweet and cheerful personality helped to make the whole “getting ready” process easy and relaxing. Page was the perfect choice for wedding hair and make-up and I would recommend Absolutely Fabulous Glamour Studio to other brides without hesitation.

  Page did my hair and makeup for the wedding and boudoir photos. I normally don't wear makeup and she made me look incredible. She's fun and easy to talk to and made me feel at ease both times.

  I highly highly recommend Page to do your hair/makeup! Even though I didn't have a trial with her, I knew I could trust her since my awesome wedding planner booked Page for me through a elopement package in Santa Barbara. I had so much fun the entire time she did my hair/makeup in December 2014.
  
  Page came to my hotel room early to set up her tools. I wanted a simple hairstyle- half up, half down, and swept to the side with natural loose curls. Page completely transformed my hair within minutes. With a few curls, bobby pins, a bit of her high quality products, and of course Page's magic, my hair turned out even more beautiful than I imagined. My hair looked incredible in my photos.
  
  She was very professional and super understanding when I told her about my sensitive eyes. She thoroughly cleaned all her makeup brushes and makeup with alcohol just for me. She used all my eye products like I requested with a great attitude and gave me lots of positive feedback about those products. Page gave me exactly the look I wanted- a soft, romantic look for my rustic themed photos. She uses high quality custom blend airbrush foundation that's water-based and super natural looking. I was a little worried about the thin eyeliner since I'm used to thick eyeliner in my everyday smokey eye look. But in the end, I loved how my eyes didn't overpower my face in my pictures. I'm glad I trusted Page- she really brought out my natural qualities but made me look even more beautiful and sophisticated. She's not a fan of heavy eyeliner for brides, which she thinks is more of a "clubbing" look and I agree.

I was so comfortable with her and I knew I was in good hands. I'm already thinking of another photo shoot in the future so I can have her do my hair and makeup again!

  I hired Page and her team to do hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and me, and they were amazing, they were so professional and on time. When I didn't like how the hair was done for a few of the bridesmaids, they redid it without any hesitation until I was satisfied. The make up was amazing as well, they took their time to make it perfect. They even stayed to do my mother-in-laws hair because the salon cancelled her appointment. Page did my hair and make up, and did a fabulous job. She even came after the ceremony to touch me up, which ended up being her redoing the hair because do all the rice that was stuck In my hair. I was so happy with how everyone looked, and felt like a princess :)

  Paige did my rehearsal dinner hair and my wedding hair and make-up and I loved how it turned out for both events! Paige and her team also did the bridesmaids' and mothers' hair and make-up, everyone looked great! They came directly to our hotel suite and set up different stations while the girls ate and drank champagne. They were friendly, flexible and kept us on schedule.

  I hired Page to do my hair & makeup for my wedding and I am so happy I did!!! She was highly recommended by both my photographer and wedding planner so I decided to give her a try. She did my hair & makeup for my engagement photos and also for the big day. She also booked me for a trial before the wedding so she knew exactly what I wanted. She is very experienced, sweet, professional and always on time. She has great technique and she uses quality makeup from a professional line. She knows how to perfectly balance camera-ready makeup and that "beautiful, glowing, and natural" look for brides!!!! I've seen all of her work and she can do any look and make it perfect! She will style the way you want, but she is also great at giving suggestions for what will look best in pictures. She works at it until you are happy and it's just right.
  
  My hair is VERY straight and can only hold a curl for an hour. If I'm lucky. The wedding hairstyle I chose was half up with wavy, soft curls. Page set my hair and the curls were full and stayed for hours! I even brought some extensions (real hair) to put in the bottom of my hair for added fullness and Page took the extra step, curled them and clipped them into my hair. Also, makeup stayed put for most of the evening without touch ups!! She uses airbrush makeup and it is amazing. It feels so light and stays put.
  
  I highly recommend Page and would hire her again for any event, wedding, or glam photo shoots!

  I was referred to Page by my photographer and I'm SO happy I decided to book her to do my hair & makeup for my wedding. She is very experienced and knows what looks works best for me as a classy "bridal" look but was also very open to my ideas and worked with me to achieve the look I really wanted. I was unsure between the "natural" or "smokey" eye but we were able to play around with the makeup until I found the perfect balance I was comfortable with. She really knows her stuff and brings years of professional makeup & hair experience so you will not be disappointed if you choose her. She used airbrush makeup which made everything appear more natural & flawless in the photos, and my makeup held up for hours without re-touch.
  As far as hair went, I had a pretty good idea what I wanted and she was able to get my hair just right! I would definitely recommend a trial first as we ended up spending more time adjusting my hair & makeup so that it was just right to how I wanted it. The next day, she came back for my wedding and was able to achieve the exact look once again in less amount of time :-) She is extremely professional and was on time both days. She has a great personality and is very easy to work with and always open to your ideas & suggestions. I definitely recommend her if you are looking for professional hair & makeup in the Santa Barbara area. She was very flexible when I kept changing the time. She was on time and prepared for anything. Her pricing was an incredible value compared to others. And she is very friendly (got along perfectly with everyone) and not at all bothered by all the people in the room. You won't be disappointed!

On the day of the wedding she brought along a 2nd artist to help get everyone ready in time. The makeup and hair were flawless and everyone was ready to go on time! I wouldn't hesitate to use About Face again should I ever need make-up services in the area. Highly recommended!

  Both Page and Nina did such an awesome job for both my girls and me. All of our hair looked exactly as it did in the pictures we gave to them and the makeup was flawless and picture perfect! I had an all outdoor wedding and the photos all turned out amazing! I definitely recommend the duo for any wedding party in the Ventura & Santa Barbara area!

She promptly responded to my emails and since I planned this wedding out of state that was a big deal for me. She was very professional and met my style perfectly.   Page was absolutely amazing. She was willing to do two trials with me (the second at a reduced price) and she was totally flexible with my schedule. On the day of, she created beautiful hair & makeup for everyone in my bridal party and moms. Her prices are very reasonable and she's a delight to work with. We were thrilled!

  Page did such an excellent job at my wedding on myself, bridesmaids, and flower girls. She travled to my house over an hour away to do a trial. I especially liked how she made my hair look and STAY my entire wedding :) She's very personable too so she makes it a fun experience overall!

  I was planning an out of town wedding and decided to use Page for wedding make-up without a trial run because I simply didn't have time to keep commuting back and forth... I couldn't be happier that I decided to book her! My husband is not a big fan of a lot of make-up so I was really nervous with my make-up because I wanted him to be happy... I also wanted to look beautiful on my wedding day, but not over the top. Page did airbrush foundation and blush and I was soooo happy with the result! My husband has even offered to buy me an airbrush machine because he loved my make-up so much! Page is awesome to work with - she responds to inquires quickly and is such a welcoming and friendly person! I highly recommend her!
