Our wedding weekend in Tuscany, Italy, was nothing short of magical, and we owe a significant part of that enchantment to our amazing photographer, Adrian. From Friday to Sunday, he was an integral part of our celebration, capturing every moment with his classic, elegant, and natural photography style.
Adrian's easy-going and comfortable approach instantly put us at ease. He seamlessly blended in with our guests, making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. We had a smaller wedding, so having a photographer who not only mingled with our guests but also became a welcomed presence was truly remarkable.
Throughout the weekend, Adrian's professionalism and dedication were evident. He was with us every step of the way, capturing the essence of our love and happiness. His talent for capturing the mood and experience flawlessly shone through in every shot, painting a vivid picture of the emotions that filled our wedding weekend.
When we received our photo gallery, we were blown away. Each picture was a work of art, reflecting how special each moment was. The moments he captured felt alive, as if we were reliving them all over again. Adrian's ability to preserve not just the events but also the feelings and atmosphere of the weekend was truly remarkable. Adrian's photography style is a perfect blend of classic elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. It allowed us to feel like ourselves, showcasing the genuine joy and love shared with our closest friends and family. Tuscan Wedding
Our experience with Adrian Wood Photography was definitely not like any other photographer we have utilized before. He is phenomenal!
We were assigned a task of identifying photography styles by our wedding planner, Cindy Salgado. In doing so, we tagged her in a variety of posts on Instagram; never looking to see whom they were by. She later informed me that a couple of the pictures we tagged were of a friend of hers, Adrian Wood, with whom she's worked with previously. We pursued an interview with him. There was no hesitation after speaking with him due to the level of comfort that he provided us. We trusted in him and he delivered.
He is warm. Funny. Charismatic. Although my husband was not a fan of the camera. Adrian and his assistant, Danny, made it seem as if they were not even there. His smile being so natural in the end product of Adrian's work.

Not only was our wedding day more than we had ever imagined, but we have the pictures to prove it. We wanted a photographer who not only helped us relive the celebration, but make it stress free and fun. Adrian captured us as our best selves; every tear, smile, laugh, and kiss.
When you are selecting your vendors, you learn that having someone who makes you feel comfortable and listens to your needs is necessary. Well we didn’t know what we needed or how to begin. We wanted someone to not only photograph us, but our guests to love shots of themselves too. We also knew we wanted both digital and film. We were so fortunate to have Adrian’s work presented to us. We were in love with every shot from his gallery. Booking him was effortless. He was prepared to do international transfers from bank to bank, answering all our questions along the way.
Fast forward one year, to our wedding day in Italy. I blew out three blow dryers and fell behind schedule, the stress was not only running through my body, but seen on my face. Enter Adrian. He not only was able to keep me calm, but all while capturing the most memorable parts of the day. I remember taking direction and watching my husband laugh through each new pose (we are by no means models). Looking back at those photos, he’s brilliant. I have never felt so beautiful in my life and I walked down the aisle with wet hair!
Adrian is hands down the absolute best. The quality and quantity of work was exactly what we were expecting, and we had high expectations because of what we saw. Our wedding photos are beautiful and timeless. The relationship we developed was built on humor and trust and I would not hesitate to jump at a chance to work with him again.

From the very first Skype call with Adrian, we felt at ease. All our questions were answered and Adrian had a very calming and funny attitude which relaxed us so much. Being a Graphic Design photography was extremely important to me so it took a while to find what we were looking for. But as soon as we saw Adrians style/"look" we instantly were excited about working with him. His images were realistic and natural.
That, for me, was the most important thing when it came to our wedding photos. We wanted the natural raw feeling rather than the posed images and boy did Adrian deliver. The coordination between his team, our wedding planner, caterers and florists was exquisitely orchestrated.
Adrian is truly an experienced hand. The knowledge he has with the locations/positions/where to stand what way to look etc. is truly amazing. The finished article is proof of this. He captured everything and more of our special day. Even with certain light conditions which would have ruined certain shots, Adrian still produced what can only be described as truly amazing. Thank you to Adrian and his crew. He felt like a family member by the end of the day yet still a true professional when going about his work.
Like others on here we are finding it extremely difficult to choose our favourites as they are all so amazing. You will not regret choosing Adrian as your photographer. 20 out of 10 for sure. Thank you Adrian.Adrian Wood Photography's reply:

Sian B. Sent on 11/11/2018Adrian Wood strikes the rare balance between being a true professional and feeling like family on your wedding day
George and I chose Adrian after him being recommended to us by our wedding planner as one of our options to choose from. I confess that originally, I had my heart set on someone else at first, and whilst this other individual was available for our wedding date, seeing Adrian's work and his 'look' made me completely change my mind as his photos are truly beautiful, realistic, and natural.
Before booking, we had a conversation with Adrian via Skype as we live in the UK so we unfortunately couldn't meet in person, but we still wanted to see if we 'fit' together. George and I were immediately relaxed talking to him. He answered all our questions honestly and gave us advice for our big day. This conversation 'sealed the deal' for us. We loved his work, and we felt comfortable talking to him, even over Skype. It was an easy decision!
On the wedding day, we knew we had made the right choice. I was very stressed on the morning for various reasons, but Adrian found a way to calm me down and enjoy the moment. We had quite a difficult task of combining a British and Greek wedding experience, and to top it off, it was extremely sunny so not the most ideal lighting at the time for photos. Adrian did a wonderful job at negotiating the obstacles in his way.
Another thing to note is that previously, George and I had not had engagement photographs. We hadn't been in front of a camera before so were a bit apprehensive about this. For this reason, we chose to also have photos with Adrian the day before the Wedding. Adrian made us feel extremely relaxed and we got truly GORGEOUS photos. Whilst it was a shoot, if felt natural, which was something I wasn't expecting. I'm one of those people who gets self-conscious in front of a camera; Adrian's friendly character and approach to his work is what made us both relax, and more importantly, ENJOY IT!
One thing I think is important to note it that Adrian works to an incredibly high standard, and for me, whilst of course I knew this from seeing his previous work, I only TRULY understood how high his own working standards are when we got the photos back. Let me explain why... on the wedding day, when my father and I were in the carriage before leaving for the church, I remember Adrian saying to me that it was hard to get the most perfect photo of my father and I in the carriage because I had my veil over my face and the sun was extremely bright - I could hardly open my eyes. I remember thinking 'Oh well. It is what it is, but there'll be plenty of other photos'. Another example is that he highlighted that he didn't get the shot he wanted of us in the carriage arriving at the church. The horse decided to bolt a little bit you see - clearly very excited and eager himself!!! Anyway, when I got those photos back, OH MY WORD, I have NO IDEA what Adrian was talking about. I remember finding the whole thing quite funny because to me they were beautiful!!! What you should take from this is that you can be completely assured that you will end up, no matter what, with truly beautiful photos capturing those amazing memories of your special day.
At the moment, we are at the stage where we're choosing the photos for the print boxes and to go in our fine art book. The photos are absolutely STUNNING; Adrian has delivered both quality AND variety. Consequently, I’m finding it exceptionally difficult to choose from them because all the photos are so wonderful!
To summarise, you should choose Adrian if you want to be in experienced hands. He is someone you can trust with capturing the memories of your special day. After all you have one shot. His extensive experience was evident during our wedding weekend and that assurance for your peace of mind, knowing you're in capable hands is something you can guarantee with Adrian. He is certainly an investment you won't regret. He's obviously incredibly talented, but also extremely efficient, and gets the ‘job’ done with minimal fuss - a true professional. As an additional bonus, he felt like an old friend by the end of the journey, and we were genuinely sad to part ways with him as he was part of our 'Wedding Family'. George and I can't wait to follow his work and all the treasured wedding memories he’ll capture for other couples in the future, and I hope, if you're reading this, your Wedding is lucky enough to be one of them.Adrian Wood Photography's reply:

From the minute we met with Adrian via Skype we immediately knew we had made the right choice.
He was referred by our wedding planner / designer who had worked with him on numerous occasions and had nothing but glowing remarks about his work; which all proved to be accurate.
Being on different continents, Adrian’s approach gave us all of the trust we needed to leave matters in his hands and know that our wedding celebration would be memorialized to our satisfaction.
Upon meeting him in person, he and his crew were punctual, very personable, understanding of the importance of the day for us, and as a result very accommodating.
Over the course of our wedding day, the coordination between his team, our wedding planner, caterers, florists, and venue staff was exquisitely orchestrated.
They virtually went about their craft unnoticed, left no detail uncaptured, and the end product was proof. He even went as far as taking duplicate digital pictures as back up for the film photos!
His final work product was evidence of the pride he and his team take in their work. The pictures were artistic, candid, and full of life and color! The bride and groom story put to music took us right back to our special moment...and still left us teary eyed. Adrian has been a personification of the partnership we expected from our wedding photographer, and we will forever be grateful for he and his team for making our wedding day special and truly memorable!Adrian Wood Photography's reply:

Eugenia Sent on 12/10/2017Adrian is an absolute master of photography and light! My husband and I had him photograph our wedding in Kefalonia, and it was a joy to work with him. Not only did our pictures turn out beautifully, but we also got all sorts of advice for actually planning the timeline and look of the wedding. I was able to turn to Adrian for figuring out our timeline based on the "golden hour," and also to determine how much lighting we'd actually need for the reception. If you're looking for editorial quality photography, Adrian is your guy. Not to mention, if you're planning your wedding in Kefalonia, look no further - he knows his way around the island and has all the resources at his fingertips to provide top-notch service!

Anna Sent on 03/20/2018Finding the best wedding photographer for our wedding in Los Angeles was one of the most important decisions while we were planning out wedding. Working with Adrian was one of the best decisions we made, while he was capturing incredible memories that we will always cherish he seamlessly made all involved feel so relaxed and for sure helped make it one of the greatest days of our lives.
