10/10 Recommend For Any Bride & Groom
I will recommend Affordable Flowers to any bride & groom looking for an “affordable” florists in the Metro Detroit area. The owner, John, is the so so great. He made the entire process from start to finish, so easy & seamless. I also worked with Mary & she also was a delightful person to work with. From my centerpieces, to my bridesmaids bouquet, to my ceremony arch, and my own personal bouquet… my entire vision for my wedding came to life. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Affordable Flowers. 10/10 recommend. -

Alycia Sent on 06/07/2017Affordable flowers was perfect!! Setting up the appointment was easy, Louise was amazing to work with and my flowers looked absolutely beautiful!! Everything was at an affordable price which was really important to us as we had just bought a house and did not have a flexible budget! For my appointment and showed some pictures of colors/flowers I liked off of pintrest and they were able to create the bouquets that fit my budget. I highly recommend them and will use them again for any flower needs in my future. -

The flowers for the bridal party and the centerpieces were stunning! They exceeded expectations. Louise, who designed the bouquets and centerpieces, was wonderful to work with and she captured exactly what my daughter wanted. The quality of the flowers, the centerpiece designs, delivery and set-up were flawless. Our guests were equally impressed with the beautiful flowers and I feel that they greatly enhanced our daughter's wedding experience. -

She Sent on 08/13/2012I had an idea of how I wanted my flowers to look and when we met with Louise from Affordable flowers I was impressed with how she gave me suggestions and also kept the vision I had for my flowers. The end result was absolutely breath taking I am obsessed with my bouquet and it went above and beyond what I had imagined. I would definitely recommend Affordable Flowers. -
User854183 Sent on 07/06/2012Louise at Affordable Flowers was great! She really impressed me with the arrangements. She knows her stuff in terms of what flowers and colors will look good and makes you feel like you can trust her to do a great job throughout the planning process. We had 3 meetings during planning. She created a quick sample of one of my centerpieces and it looked wonderful. She also had many suggestions of how to save money. The flowers day-of looked amazing and I was very happy! They included rose petals on most of the tables and we hadn't even discussed doing that, so that was really nice! They let us drop off our own items (glasses, candles) and they set them up for us which was a huge help.

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, because everything came together magically, but it was a serious hassle to get it there.
My (now) husband and I live out of state so wedding planning was already a challenge for us, but luckily we had a great wedding planner who would show up in person to all of our appointments. The hard part about Affordable Flowers is that I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, but it was extremely difficult to get that communicated (even with pictures) and get exactly what I was picturing to come to life. We spent (literally) hours with them trying to pull it together. My wedding planner was in person and we were on video chat. Affordable Flowers is a great choice if you let them choose whatever they want to put together, but if you are precise and know exactly what you want, just be prepared to spend alot of time with them getting it right. I would also recommend they create mock-ups. That was EXTREMELY helpful for us (but I do not believe that is common).
Regardless of the hassle, at the end, it all came together beautifully. They created mock-ups for us and even threw in more roses to our arraignments because they understood it took an immense amount of time to create what we wanted. All of their decor is truly stunning and their prices are phenomenal.

However, I need to make several changes to my order before the wedding over the phone (long distance planning) and it would have been helpful to have the order changes documented by email. Because what showed up that day was quite what I had ordered.
