  Very Delighted with Our Experience

  Ahi's Ohana catered at our wedding. We were very pleased with how delicious and nicely executed the food and service was. All my guests were raving about how fresh and well prepared the dinner was. Working with Mark and his team was incredible easy as well. He is very professional, responsive and doesn't try to up-sell things. He's really flexible and genuinely wants the catering to be what you want! I would highly recommend Mark and his team for your event!

  Great experience, great food!

  Mark, the owner was great to work with. We had to plan our wedding from out of state, he was very flexible and allowed us to have a tasting and choose our menu on a trip out there.
  The food was amazing, we got compliments from all of our guests! The food was as fresh as it gets, all locally sourced. They provided everything, including serving the alcohol, and cleaned up without ever being in the way. We highly recommend them for any catering you have.

  We had Ahi's Ohana cater our wedding in Hood River.
  Mark and his team were so great from beginning to end. Mark was very helpful and always available to answer our questions. The food was AMAZING. We had so many compliments on the food and appetizers. The salmon was cooked perfectly! The Ahi's Ohana team was so nice and helpful and the bar tender was a lot of fun and made great margaritas! Can't say enough good things about our experience with them.

  Marvelous caterers! Not only was the food amazing, and the cost was very reasonable, but they were so communicative and responsive. We had many changes along the way that they were happy to accommodate, they acted as our bartenders, and helped set-up/clean-up. We could not have asked for better!

  We had our wedding on the fruit loop and I really wanted to use local catering from the Gorge. We were between a couple caterers and decided to do a tasting with Mark as I really liked the menu he suggested for my budget. We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by our tasting! The food was all delicious and fresh. Mark was also very patient and responsive as I asked 1000 questions before the wedding day. They were also able to serve alcohol for us and let us provide our own alcohol, which saved us a lot of money - and they let us drop it off at their kitchen a few days before the wedding so we didn't have to worry about hauling it. They also provided us with sandwiches to eat on the wedding day while we were getting ready. On the day of they passed around some delicious appetizers and then set up a beautiful taco buffet for us. Everyone raved that it was the best wedding food ever. All of the staff was kind and professional all night and we couldn't have asked for a better caterer!

  Ahi’s Ohana catered our welcome dinner at Marchesi Vineyards the night before our wedding last weekend and we could not have been more happy with our choice! When Mark responded to my initial inquiry with a menu proposal with delicious and gourmet-sounding dishes that completely hit the nail on the head (the only change we ended up making was subbing salmon for chicken since we knew we’d be having salmon at the wedding), complete with passed appetizers and strawberry shortcake for dessert (one of our favorites!), and all at a price far lower than any of the other caterers in the area had quoted for us, I feared it might be a little too good to be true, but recommendations via online reviews and word of mouth convinced us to forge ahead and I’m so happy we did. Mark was super responsive and accommodating throughout the process, the servers were courteous and professional, and (most importantly), the food was as delicious as it sounded!! Everyone kept raving about the evening and the food was a big part of that. I highly highly recommend them for any sort of catered event you might be planning in the area.

  Mark and his staff catered our Wedding this past August in Hood River, Oregon. We didn't hire a wedding planner and as we soon learned, planning a wedding is hard. We knew the 3 most important things were the food & drink, the entertainment and the venue. Mark and his team handled the food and the bartending for us. Out of all the things we had to coordinate, working with AHI was one of the easiest and seamless parts of our process. Mark and Ashley gave us (and 3 of our family members who tagged along at the last minute) a wonderful preview of the food and helped us craft a menu that fit into our very tight budget. He accommodated multiple nut allergies, vegans, vegetarians, kids, and even a few surprise guests without a hint of an issue. Throughout our wedding planning process my Wife and I learned that we seriously dislike event planning, but I can honestly say that I almost want to plan another event just to get to work with AHI again. They're cool people and the food is fresh, delicious, and positively memorable. Thank you guys for being such a solid and excellent part of our wedding day!

  Hiring Ahi's catering team was one of the best decisions we made for our Hood River wedding this September. Mark's team catered our wedding and farewell brunch and went above and beyond in delivering amazing, innovative, farm fresh food, with a smile and at a fantastic price point for the quality that they deliver-- we feel we got a steal of a deal.
  
  Part of Mark's catering style is to truly build a menu around the tastes of the bride and groom and I appreciated the time and effort he took leading into the wedding to ensure we were happy. For the wedding itself, everything went off without a hitch so we just got to sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing food and service. If you are getting married in the area, look no further.

Our guests absolutely loved the food and they not only helped with food clean up, but tables, benches and chairs as well, which was a huge help! They offer a wide variety of menu choices (which are all delicious!) so you can create the meal that's perfect for you and your guests. My favorite thing about Ahi Ohana was how simple their pricing was. Many other caterers we came across early on in the planning process had individual fees for everything, such as $25 per bag of garbage for example. This makes it really hard to know how much you will be paying overall 9 months down the road when your big day finally arrives. Ahi Ohana just has a flat rental rate for dishware, a flat rate for bar services, and a per person rate for dinner depending on the entrees you choose. This makes things so much easier especially if you're on a budget! If you're looking for a fresh and delicious meal to share with your guests look no further than Ahi Ohana Catering!
