    Great photos and great service

    We are very happy with our photos! AJ was always helpful throughout our whole process. She not only planned our photos but she gave advice for other vendors and checked in with us monthly. I highly recommend 😁

    Highly recommend!!

    Aj is professional, efficient and affordable!! The quality we received for what we spent is unbelievable! I searched for months and one thing aside from her great work that helped us decide was that she also offers a military discount. I haven't found any other photographers that recognize our heros so that was special for us. We made a choice that we didn't regret. She checked in with us every month to see if there was anything we needed. The day of the wedding she was everywhere and didn't miss a single special moment. She was so much fun to work with!! We were thrilled when we received our proofs and when we received our package, the frame we got for our 8×10 was absolutely beautiful!! We were very happy with our choice and you really can't beat her prices!! 100% recommend!!

    Highly recommend

    Wonderful to work with. Always responsive to any questions we had. So many wonderful memories captured by AJ made it difficult to choose which pictures to pick!

    AJ Vinsh Photography

    I'm torn on leaving my review about AJ Vinsh, but here it goes. She was recommended by a friend, and very reasonably priced. She is not from the area where we live, but was very flexible in traveling, and even being outside of her mileage range, her prices were great.

    We met her in the middle for engagement photos. Our availability was very limited, and we did pictures on a frigid day. She was fun to work with, very easy to get along with, and had our pictures to us quickly. She even put together some save the dates for us to use. Not her fault that I'm super picky and didn't like them; I appreciate the work she put in.

    Getting closer to our wedding, I started getting nervous because her responsiveness sometimes took a while. I was afraid she wouldn't show. We heard negative feedback from our friend that recommended her that she hardly participated in their wedding, and I started reading negative reviews too. Thank goodness she showed up, and on time. I made her a list of photos I wanted, kept in touch, and didn't keep her the entire reception as she had a long drive home and a wedding the next day. She kept busy on the day of our wedding, and we really didn't have any issues.

    After our wedding is when it went downhill. We really didn't hear much from her. Her website "broke" so you couldn't even check your album to see when it was available. She stopped responding to emails as well. Finally, she texted me saying her email was not working, but the pictures were uploaded. I thanked her, reviewed them, and didn't hear anything else for a while. I went through the contract and realized we had 60 days to let her know what pictures we wanted as our print outs. Once we figured that out, I let her know our selections. Again, no direction on anything from her. Another month went by, I asked her for an update and said I wanted to wrap up all of our wedding stuff. She said she'd be able to have everything sent in the next couple of weeks. After not hearing from her, I texted again asking for an update, she said she would be able to get our package sent out the Tuesday after Memorial Day. Another week went by, and no package. I texted her again asking if she was able to get it mailed out on Tuesday, and she said it should arrive in a couple of days. 3 days later, our package arrived.....from a 3rd party company. It took 8 months for us to receive our photos.

    AJ has a full time job, so I know she's busy, but you have to make time for your business. When we finally saw our pictures, you can tell she didn't edit any of them....correction, she made a black and white copy of each image. The focal point of our wedding was on a lake which we hardly have any pictures of. Some pictures have trash on picnic tables that we obviously don't want to use. I would have loved pictures of myself walking down the stairs to the ceremony, or the look on my dad's face when he first saw me, but she was not around. There are minimal pictures of me and my husband during our reception, and quite a few pictures are blurry or complete trash. If you aren't going to edit, at least remove the ones that look like crap! Our 11x14 and 8x10 pictures were supposed to be framed....they're not.

    I'm just glad we got our package and it's over. I've read reviews of people getting attorneys. Like I said, I feel bad that maybe she has a lot going on, but don't ignore your clients. At this time, I would not recommend. She's basically checked out and it will be a nightmare.

    Beware - you get what you pay for if you even get the pictures!

    It has taken me some time to get this review done, but I wanted it to be easy to read, yet detailed.

    We booked AJ in June 2021
    Wedding was in October 2022.
    No proofs until end of January 2023 – she claims her contract changed for 2022, but did not see ours was older which said we’d get them within 60 days of the wedding

    End of February 2023 I let her know we “liked” the 200 pictures for prints

    April 6th – I asked for an update and was told prints should be done in 2 weeks and then sent out after reviewed

    May 15th – Asked for yet another update – No answer

    I called AJ and begged her to just send the USB at this point because she couldn’t provide an update on the prints.

    June 8th – Asked for an update and was told the USB was sent a week before

    June 12th – Still no usb in the mail, asked for tracking info (her excuse was her son lost the tracking info so she would have another one). I told her my parents would pick it up

    June 13th – made plans for my parents to pick up the usb

    June 15th – the usb was finally picked up and my parents brought a laptop to ensure the pictures were actually on it!

    When I opened the USB on a laptop, the image upload dates said they were there since January 2023!! Clearly the other usb was never sent.

    Overall, AJ’s pictures turned out average which we sort of expected given her pricing and we weren’t looking to overspend on a photographer. AJ does not do well with different lighting and several of the pictures were crooked.

    The most positive thing from this was her assistant’s pictures of the guys which were amazing.

    Overall, you get what you pay for, and in the end I never received the 200 prints that were indicated we would receive per the contract we signed. I say if you are willing to wait 8 months for your pictures and this is a good price for you, get the USB and be done.

    Awful! Communication lacking! Feel Scammed

    The pictures were just ok. Nothing very exciting. Photographer asked in advance for ideas of the types of poses we were looking for...not even 1 was shot! It has been 6 mos and 3 days since our wedding day and just yesterday we received our package. However, it was not the full package! It takes her weeks to respond to messages. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AJ VINSH! spend your money else where.

    Unprofessional

    Very Unprofessional.
    Our Engagement session went great, AJ made us feel very comfortable, it was alot of fun and we loved our pictures.
    As far as the Wedding, we had a very different experience with her.
    The communication with AJ was ridiculous, not only did we have multiple emails for her, we also had two different phone numbers. When she would finally get back to us, she had excuse after excuse...
    She never told us when she posted our pictures, I just randomly went on and saw them.
    While looking through our photos, there were a least a few hundred from someone else's wedding mixed in and a handful of our own photos were missing, which she had to go back and find after I told her, I know you have pictures of us cutting the cake and us doing this and that.
    We were also sent two folders which contained different pictures, every picture had one color and one black and white, ours had one color and two black and whites and all of them were out of order, so it was really frustrating to go through them all.
    All of the pictures of me walking down the aisle are far away and blurry as are all of the ones when they did the announcements.
    There are a handful of "detail" pictures with cell phones on the table or random things in the backround, which I would think as a professional photographer, she would have taken the time (she had plenty of it while we were getting ready) to move a few things around.
    It seemed like she just went with the flow instead of having any input on poses, I felt like our wedding party had more ideas then she did.
    As a bride, you're getting pulled every which way, the last thing on your mind should be, is my photographer doing her job?
    Some of her responses:
    -I don't know why two folders came up.
    -I hurt my wrist, I can't use the computer.
    -My email is not working.
    -I thought I responded already.
    -I got your photos last week but never had time to go to the post
    office and now I have the flu.

    After I spent so much time going through pictures and ordering the one we wanted framed, which was horizontal, she then tells us, Oh I forgot to tell you it has to be vertical. We opted for a blank frame because I just did not have time to go through her unorganized mess of photos.

    7 months later we finally get our pictures and one of the larger prints, really one of the only ones we liked, she never took her signature off of it, there also was not one picture from our ceremony on our card, which was part of our package! We were also missing a handful of photos that were PAID for and there isn't a single picture from our ceremony on our memory card.

    Yes some photos we did really like and yes she was very friendly and yes she was on the less pricey side, but I guess you get what you pay for....
    I would not recommand AJ to anyone.
