    Great for small weddings!

Akwaaba is a great setting for an intimate wedding! The management team was professional and very responsive to all questions leading up to the big day. The site coordinator Shirley was also kind and extremely helpful on the day of. It was great to be able to stay at the inn and have a delicious breakfast before and after the wedding. Our families and friends loved the decor and the overall experience! It was also great to be so close to quality bars and restaurants for our guests to go after the reception.

My husband and I had an intimate 55 person wedding ceremony and dinner at Akwaaba Mansion. I cannot say enough about Monique and the entire team who made our wedding night simply magical. We literally pinched ourselves the next morning! Though we booked the Inn early in our engagement, we waited until sort of last minute to put everything together. We found Akwaaba to be well-organized, but flexible and pretty much the most stunning place in Brooklyn to be married (and we looked at a lot of venues!). It's also great that there is outdoor space, which we made great use of, and a piano in the interior living room (so we were able to have piano music accompanying dinner). When we said goodbye to our guests and walked them to the door it felt like we were seeing them off from our home, that's how comfortable we were made to feel. I got asked so many times how we found this incredible venue as well. Monique also did plenty of things to make the night magical - by the time we got to our bedroom a bath had been run and the room was filled with candles. In the morning our breakfast was truly one of the best we've had and it was so wonderful to have the entire inn to ourselves. My husband and I are big supporters of family run businesses and we're just so incredibly proud of what Akwaaba was able to do for our special day. We'll look forward to staying again on our anniversary and other special occasions too! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Akwaaba for making our day so special.

I had my wedding at another location owned by Akwaaba Mansion's Monique Greenwood-- The Mansion at Noble Lane in Bethany, PA. Noble Lane is the largest of the 4 properties, so it was perfect for my 200+ wedding. I hosted my spa-chelorette party with a tea and luncheon there on Saturday afternoon, held the rehearsal dinner at the on-site Taste Restaurant, and then had our outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner there on Sunday. Dancing, photo booth, and formalities were held inside the mansion.

Initially, I came upon Akwaaba Mansion (Brooklyn, NY) and fell in love with its hardwood floors and unique space. So imagine my delight to learn about The Mansion at Noble Lane. After visiting 25 wedding venues throughout the tri-state area, we finally visited The Mansion at Noble Lane and immediately set our hearts there, with 7 months to plan the entire wedding. Monique and Erica were both God-sent-- they were very helpful about potential vendors, answered emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and just patiently dealt with the crazy mind of a bride with a high stress job.

We booked the entire 14-bedroom B&B for the weekend and we couldn't have been happier. The service was excellent, the 22-acre property was amazing, our guests enjoyed the various amenities (pool, weight room, breakfast, and spacious rooms) and it just felt like a family reunion in the mansion. By the time we left a few days after the wedding, we felt like we were part of the Akwaaba family as well (Monique and Donna were so kind and just accommodated all our needs). We loved it so much that we can't wait to celebrate our anniversary at another Akwaaba property-- the goal is to stay at each location at least once and hopefully celebrate our 10/25-year anniversary at The Mansion at Noble Lane. It was just too perfect to not repeat it again!

Akwaaba Bed and Breakfast was the perfect place for our wedding. We wanted to get married in a place that was meaningful, with lots of charm, elegant with a rich and tasteful history - and this was the place. The staff was amazing and Monique, the owner is always so delightful. I total recommend Akwaaba for your wedding venue.

If you are looking for an intimate, comfortable and enchanting setting for your wedding day, The Akwaaba is it! It really is a gem in Brooklyn. I took my now husband there for his birthday in March and while there, we met the lovely owner, Ms. Monique. We were just in conversation about the events they have there and she just so happend to mention that aside from being a bed and breakfast, they also do wedding ceremonies and receptions. Immediately the light bulb went up! We said we would only have a ceremony and reception if we found a place that was affordable and truly represented us. To this day, I still think it was an act of God that we booked our venue at the Akwaaba. Everything literally fell into place. The site coordinator, Erica was amazing at keeping us updated and making sure we had everything ready for the big day. They were so welcoming and warm to not only my husband and I but to all of our guests. Everyone commented that the Akwaaba really felt like home. I can't wait to come back for our 1 year anniversary! Thank you Ms. Monique, Erica and Nella for all of your hard work and dedication!

If you are looking for a beautiful location with an intimate setting, then this is the place for you. It has been historically renovated, so no decoration are needed. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and freshly made.
