Jide came to us as a recommendation from a close friend. My wife and I are extremely happy and thankful we followed up. Jide provided quality work, a unique style but most importantly great personality. The energy he brought during our event was amazing. He has a way of making you feel comfortable while taking pictures and pays attention to details you didn't even know existed. We truly loved him, his professionalism, his kindness, his direction, and his creativeness. I truly recommend him, he is such a comfortable photographer and overall person to work with. Our families and friends loved him and raved about the quality work he produces.

We are truly honored by the fact that Jide (Alakija Studios) shot our wedding reception. What this man can do with a camera is mind-blowing and breath-taking. Jide is the real deal with a camera in his hand, but what separates him from the pack is that he is a genuinely nice, warm man. We met with Jide before our wedding day to discuss all of our photography needs. When you have the portfolio and following that Alakija Studios does, it would be easy and understandable to not care all that much about the input of two non-photographers and non-experts. However, Jide made sure that all of our wishes and desires were accounted for. When you think about it, you really place a lot of trust in your photographer for your wedding day. You are going to have one wedding, so the shots have to be perfect. You have one chance at capturing the magic. Jide knew exactly what to do and navigated our wedding day like a world-class professional. He understood lighting, angles, and positioning, all the while being a kind soul. This will not be the last time we work with Jide or Alakija Studios. We could not be happier with the moments that were captured. Our hearts are full and we will owe Alakija Studios forever. -

Jide was so great to work with. Me gave us exactly what we asked for and even more. Our pictures turned out great! I just go back and stare at them sometimes because I’m so happy with his work. -

Jide made our wedding day special! He genuinely took the time to get to know us and give us his best service on our wedding day. We got lucky with Jide. Of course something has to drop on your wedding day and for us that was we didn’t line up our transportation. Jide called us a car to the photoshoot area and to the church. Of course on that day it didn’t register but later on it hit me how he doubled up as photographer and wedding planner in that moment.
As for our pictures... omg! 7 months later we still look through our pictures. They are so beautiful, all moments captured, moments I don’t remember happening are in there, the laughter from my family and friends is in there, the love! The artistry is on a whole level. So BEAUTIFUL❤️. Thank you Jide for giving us the dream!!
He also worked with us in our budget and was very understanding. -

Jide Alakija is, HANDS DOWN, one of the best photographers and vendors I've worked with. He takes his time to understand his clients and he is extremely accommodating... Jasmine Sent on 08/31/2018Alakija Studios was the top photographer I dreamed of working with for my wedding. His amazing eye for color and light is mesmerizing. Our consultation call was full of laughs and getting to know him as a person AND an artist (very important).
Our engagement photos were scheduled in early September, but Hurricane Harvey originally messed up travel plans. But that did not stop him. Though the traffic was insane, he still came for our engagement shoot!! He made it so easy for my husband and I to be ourselves and truly have fun. The pictures came out PHENOMENAL!
On our wedding day, Jide went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get the perfect shot (even in the literal sense lol). He is hilarious and so fun to be around. And most importantly, his passion for his work illuminates the room. Thank you Jide! -

My husband and I both work in the wedding industry so we come across many photographers. But when it came time to choose our own wedding photographer there was no doubt in our mind that Alakija Studios was the one. We were so impressed by Jide’s incredible talent and knew immediately that his documentary style was what we wanted to capture the best day of our lives. His personality on the wedding day was just what we needed to feel relaxed so that we could get the best possible photos. The first time I looked at our gallery I was brought to tears. I still look at my photos in awe and I can’t believe we were lucky enough to have him document our day. Please do not hesitate to book him! He is highly sought after for a reason. You won’t regret it! -

User2698890 Sent on 07/25/2016After a very memorable wedding I am kind of having my concerns using alakija photos. To be honest he is a very nice guy. No doubts. He gives his best service on the day. Captured every bit from start to finish. Calm and selfless. Worked really hard. Great Personality. Excellent! But after the day its a chase to get your online photos and other items like your wedding album. Yes, he is a very busy photographer. He is world renowned. Fabulous. But I don't think other things like client feedback, responsiveness and keeping your customers up to date and in touch with outstanding items is a big ask. You just shouldnt take great photos and then struggle to keep clients in the loop to what happens next with their photos. Is he a one team man? Then to the detriment of other things cause he's very busy. Its totally downed the excellent ratings I had given for his performance on the day and looking at the online pictures and everything in restrospect... I could have gotten a photographer more than half the price I paid - with a wedding album to show friends and family who visit regularly plus a lovely wedding photo frame on my wall and a good reference to pass on here and to those seeking for a good photographer. From my experience it's overrated.
