  Highly recommend!

  Albertine Press designed such a gorgeous invitation for our wedding weekend. Shelley and Jen were nothing but professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, I was never able to meet them in person but am forever grateful for how seamless the stationary process was for our event. 100% worth the investment. THANK YOU!

  Gorgeous, Custom Invites and Papergoods

  'I've kept your gorgeous save the date on my fridge for the last year — and I think I'll leave it there.' — multiple guests at our wedding. We tried very hard to keep our wedding vendors as local as possible, as a reflection of our community and values here in Cambridge and Somerville, and we're so lucky that our neighborhood stationary store is so incredible. (It helped even more that Shelley was so comfortably candid as we tried to figure out different details of our wedding weekend — she was absolutely right about the timing of our goodbye bagels and coffee, and we're forever grateful!). If you want invites and paper goods that go that extra mile, Albertine Press will do it, and then some.

  Wonderful wedding paper!

  We loved working with Shelley and the team at Albertine Press. They were recommended by a friend and designed lovely save the dates in 2019. They also managed to keep a design through line even as our wedding was delayed to 2022 and the venue changed significantly! They also did a great job on designing escort cards, table numbers, bar menus, and thank you cards for us. In addition to the beautiful designs, the whole team is helpful and communicative. We can't recommend them highly enough!

  Albertine Press is one of a kind. Shelley and Ellen made my vision come to life and they did it with such ease. They are not only extremely talented but most importantly they are passionate about what they do. I was very nervous at our first meeting with Shelley because I was unsure about what I wanted although I knew I wanted my wedding invitations to be something special and memorable. Shelley was so excited to start planning with us which put me right at ease. We planned everything together from start to finish and the end result turned out to be the most gorgeous wedding invitation I have ever seen. They took into account every aspect and detail I wanted to incorporate and allowed me to make many changed to the proof with no delay in response or complaint. They also created our wedding day programs to match the invitations. We received feedback from many of our guests about how gorgeous the invitations were. I truly cannot thank Shelley and Ellen enough for creating something so special and personal for our wedding day. Our invitations are something I will hold dear to me for the rest of our lives. They are already framed in our house!

  Gorgeous custom letterpress - Shelley was fantastic in all phases of work and delivered a wonderful product (on time too). Our invitations, and the design process for them, are my favorite parts of the wedding process thus far - highly highly recommend Albertine for any print work!

  Albertine Press (and Shelley - its owner) make beautiful letterpress creations that will reflect whatever you want to bring to your wedding invitation/save the dates.
  We went to talk to Shelley and brought a few photos and some scattered thoughts. She immediately zeroed in on one of our images and one of our thoughts and put together a great save the date. The ideas we didn't use for the save the date were perfect for our invitation, and we loved our invites and our reply cards.
  Shelley also made us a great map which was an additional insert in our invite. I saw a few of them crumpled in people's pockets at the reception, which must have meant they worked!
  I highly recommend Shelley. She loves weddings and creating things and her work is beautiful. It was especially nice for us to patronize a local artist, who works in the same building as some of our friends.

  Creative and classy

  The invitations, reply cards, programs, and escort cards for our daughter’s wedding had both a timeless feel, but also reflected this particular couple. They were very beautiful. Albertine was very responsive, worked with us on multiple iterations with quick turnaround and a helpful attitude. Highly recommend.

  Shelley designed my wedding invitation, ceremony program, and dinner menu. She worked with me to alter an existing design and was incredibly accommodating to my preferences regarding color, style, etc. She was also very patient with my numerous questions and emails. Her designs turned out beautifully and the quality of the paper and printing was superb. I received so many compliments from my wedding guests. Albertine Press's products are worth every penny!

  Perfect Invitations

  I always knew stationary was an important part of my wedding vision. I was thrilled to find out that my favorite local stationary shop also did weddings! We worked with Shelley to design custom stamp save-the-dates with our wedding venue on them. I cannot describe how much I love these cards! We then carried that color scheme throughout the rest of our invitation suite. Shelley was incredibly patient and listened to us during the design processes. She was also a saint and worked with my future mother-in-law who had specific ideas for an invitation for the welcome party. We had so many people complement our invitations saying that they were the nicest they ever received. Some of our friends still have them on their fridges because they are too pretty to be thrown away. Albertine press also helped us with our day of stationary - a welcome sign, escort cards, and other signage. Everything was very cohesive from start to finish. Worth the splurge for quality invitations, stationary, day-of-printing, etc.

  Wow...I can't say enough about how beautiful letterpress is, and Albertine Press does a phenomenal job. If you want your invitations to set the tone for your wedding, and really make a lasting impression letterpress is the way to go. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.

  Wedding Invites - poor process and over billing!

  We were very excited when we found and hired Albertine, the cost and quality of printing seemed to be perfect for us…..HOWEVER, the design process was frustrating - we had to repeat or draw the layout to get an accurate copy of our edits. The worst was the final bill as 1/3rd more than the estimate, for fewer products, with NO warning of the increases of cost during the process and for services they said were included. Nice people - but use another company, this spoiled what should have been a wonderful part of our wedding.

  Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Pam. We are truly sorry about your experience. We strive to be a joyful part of every client’s wedding celebration and it's disheartening to learn that we fell short of meeting your expectations.
  
  We apologize for any frustrations you felt during the design process. Our aim is always to ensure clear communication and seamless collaboration. To that end we re-examined our entire communication thread.
  
  It’s true that your daughter supplied her feedback with pdf markups, which is one way of sharing edits many of our couples opt for, as the bespoke design process is inherently visual. We asked for clarification where needed. Our edits were provided in a timely manner. To the best of my knowledge the couple is happy with the quality of both their save the dates and invitations.
  
  Regarding the discrepancy in the final billing amount, we understand your concerns and fully acknowledge that we could have done a better job of communicating any cost adjustments along the way. These costs account for our team's efforts to accommodate your evolving needs, including the additional design elements requested during the invitation meeting (full map design and several venue illustrations). Please know that this was not our intention. After a phone conversation between us addressing this matter, I thought we had come to an understanding discounting the additional design costs incurred. It was a surprise and disheartening to read on a public forum that this was not satisfactory.
  
  We understand that planning a wedding can be a stressful time, and we regret any added frustration caused by the misunderstanding regarding the invitation wording. Our intention is always to provide guidance and support throughout the process, and we apologize if our communication fell short in this instance.
  
  Please know that your feedback has been taken seriously, and we are committed to making improvements. Wishing the couple all the best.
