The best venue!!! Highly recommend the alexander room! Mrs Cindy is the absolute sweetest person and she is so accommodating! They have plenty to offer and its so pretty! I love that its a family owned business and the food is AMAZING!!

Cindy, the Fairy Godmother of Brides, is always there for your. From the first time I contacted her about our daughter's wedding until now (two months after the wedding), she is quick in replying to any question you may have. She becomes your friend. Always there for you. She has amazing suggestions. Late night bite? No problem She will wave her magic wand and your guests will devour the delicious truffle oil fries prepared by her amazing chef husband before their departure from this most spacious venue. Beautiful outdoor terrace! Gorgeous and huge inside space. More than enough room for all of your guests. She knows so much and listens to every single word you say. Our guests are still raving about the food, the service, and the room. The dance floor wrap she suggested was the icing on the cake! Our florist, photographer, and videographer all said how much they enjoyed working with Cindy! I am forever grateful to this beautiful family for making our daughter's wedding wishes come true!

Wonderful attention to detail! The owner met with us several times to review every detail. Everything we discussed with the owner Cindy prior to the wedding reception was executed beautifully. Professional staff were always handy to help the event run smoothly. We were able to enjoy the festivities and let the Alexander staff take the reins. I highly recommend this venue to handles any celebration!

Very accommodating, it rained on my wedding day so we had to jorge the ceremony inside. It was just as beautiful! drinks, food, and venue were outstanding.

The Alexander Room was way above my expectations! They helped me with all the aspects of my daughters wedding. I was blown away by how they transformed the room into my daughters dream reception. Cindy is amazing and the staff makes sure everything goes smoothly.

It's been a month and to this day I can't get over how perfect our wedding reception was. Cindy and her staff's ability to transform that room into whatever we desired was simply incredible, especially for how particular we were about certain details. I can't get over how intimate and beautiful the place was with plenty of room for everything. Any worry we had about a vendor, the Alexander Room staff had a reference or an answer on the ready. We had used a ton of their recommendations and we were more than satisfied. Their staff is attentive, their food is AMAZING, and there was never a line at the indoor or outdoor bars despite the 300+ guests we had. Overall, we couldn't have asked a smoother planning process or a more a perfect night.
P.S. Once again, the food was amazing.

This venue is a hidden gem! I fell in love with it after meeting Mrs. Cindy and touring the room. I loved the idea that I was having my reception at not only a beautiful venue, but one that was operated by such a loving family. Mrs. Cindy puts so much time and attention into weddings that it makes you feel as though your wedding is the only event held all year— even as she was planning/hosting her daughter’s wedding there. She was open to my ideas and ensured ways to make them happen. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ice cream bar was a huge hit at the end of the night! I had a last minute issue with flowers, and Mrs. Cindy made it her priority to fix the arrangements to the exact look I was envisioning. She truly takes care of every detail/concern to ensure that your wedding is everything you wish for. I can’t thank Mrs. Cindy and Mr. Troy enough for going above and beyond to make sure that every detail was perfect for our wedding!

Full disclosure, my parents run and operate this venue! My mom (Cindy) works with the brides and coordinates everything, while my Dad (Troy) handles the food which comes from the family restaurant- Hobnobber Cafe. So of course, when the time came, I had to get married at The Alexander Room! It's not easy work - cooking the food, planning, decorating, and coordinating your own daughter's wedding. Especially when that day should be just as worry-free for parents as it is for the couple (considering they're paying the bills). But let me tell you, these are the MOST hard-working people in the entire world. I had what seemed like the craziest ideas, from ceiling drapes to hanging flower installations and chiavari chairs, but they took everything I asked for and turned it into the most beautiful thing we'd ever seen. The room completely transformed into something we'd never seen there before. The food was to die for and everything ran so smoothly that there was no room for worry at all. I'm telling you, if you're looking for the best venue in Metairie, this is definitely it! Shout out Mom and Dad for the best night of my life, I love you so much!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Alexander Room! The space was perfect, the food was amazing, and Cindy and her staff were so accommodating, easy to work with, friendly, and went above and beyond to make my wedding day absolutely perfect! I cannot recommend them enough. If you decide to get married at the Alexander Room you will not be disappointed!

Alexandria Room and Terrace is an amazing venue. We were looking for a place that was not only convenient for our guest but also safe and had plenty of parking. The food was phenomenal, our guest are still talking about how great it was and our daughters wedding was 2 years ago. This place is a true gem and made the whole experience very memorable for us. This is the biggest little secret in Metairie.

My husband and I had to move our wedding reception location due to COVID. Cindy was extremely understanding and accommodating from the very start. She's very easy to contact & makes you feel like family. We had the most magical wedding reception at Alexander Room & Terrace. Would recommend them to anyone.
