  Professional, Honest and Talented Photographer!

  Alexis was such a joy to work with! From our first email with her, she has been so responsive and willing to work with our needs! My fiancé and I were wanting to do a destination engagement photoshoot in DC and Alexis truly helped us bring our vision to life. We were initially a little nervous because 1) this was our first shoot and 2) we both were not from the area, but the minute we met Alexis in person, we felt so at ease. We are SO happy with our pictures and cannot stop looking at them!!! She truly has an eye for capturing picture-perfect moments :) Thank you Alexis for making this process so easy and so efficient! We are so fortunate to have worked with you and will be booking you again the next time we come to DC!

  Photographer & Artist

  Alexis is a masterful artist! Her eye for composition, use of natural light, and ability to capture "the" moment (and the subtleties of each interaction) are what makes her photos more than just a record of the day! Her photos are simply stunning, each one better than the last! As a side note, as mother-of-the-groom, I was particularly grateful that she shared her expertise and guidance with the bride and groom as they planned their wedding in the months leading up to the wedding day!

  Alexis is a 1000/10!!!

  Alexis was the most amazing photographer that we could ask for. Throughout our whole wedding planning process, she was there for us, giving inspiration and helping us find the style that was "us". She was incredibly professional and knowledgeable in our planning calls, during the engagement shoots, and throughout our wedding weekend.
  
  She sent us our engagement photos in a very timely manner, and set sneak peak photos very soon after our wedding so we could already relive the magic. We are just so impressed with everything she did.
  
  We also heard nothing but amazing things about her from my guests and other vendors. My husband and I now have beautiful classic photos that feel so timeless and artistic. We really recommend Alexis to be your photographer for your special day, because she truly cares, and her love and talent shows through all her photos!

  Stunning!

  Alexis is the first person we booked when we got engaged- I knew from the beginning that I wanted her capturing our special day!! Her attention to detail and beautiful artwork is exactly what we were looking for and she is the sweetest human there is. Alexis made us feel comfortable throughout our engagement photos and wedding and we couldn't have asked for anyone better! We love Alexis so so much and were extremely blessed to have her on our special day :)

  Highly recommend!

  Alexis is not only a talented photographer, but inserts kindness, cheerfulness and calm wherever she works. Alexis captured my engagement and wedding photos as well as a few of my friends'. She has an amazing ability to capture each couple's unique energy and make everyone around her feel comfortable. She is responsive and just lovely to work with. I highly recommend Alexis to everyone I know who is getting married or is looking for any kind of event or portrait photography.

  Incredible experience!

  I cannot speak highly enough about Alexis... Having seen her work for years, she was the only photographer I reached out to when planning our engagement/wedding photos. She reached out early in the process to hear our thoughts and ideas and create a cohesive timeline for our wedding day.
  
  When the pandemic forced us to cancel our original wedding plans in October 2020, Alexis insisted on traveling to Boston to photograph our private wedding ceremony. Not only did she travel TWICE to take our engagement and wedding photographs, but she essentially created and executed our entire wedding day timeline and kept everyone and everything organized over the course of the day. Without hesitation, she scaled down her services to accommodate our "micro wedding" and was able to capture our wedding day in the most beautiful photos. During the posed photos, Alexis provided incredible guidance and made my husband and I, who had never been professionally photographed, feel so comfortable and have a blast during the sessions. On top of all that, she sent us sneak peeks within 48 hours of our wedding and the full digital album was completed even faster than I had imagined.
  
  Again, incredible experience overall. I would recommend Alexis to any friend or family member looking for a wedding photographer and I can't wait to call Alexis in the future for maternity/family photos!

  Hiring Alexis to be our wedding photographer was the best — and easiest — decision we made in the wedding-planning process. We intend to hire her for milestone events in the future.
  
  Alexis’ talent is beyond words. We can cite two specific instances where this was evident.
  
  During our engagement photo shoot in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood we were witness to Alexis’ eye for detail. Throughout the hour together, we walked around the area finding locations to use as backdrops. At one point, she literally stopped traffic for us to take a photograph while crossing the street. The photographs are amazing and were proof that we made a great choice in hiring Alexis.
  
  During the final photo session on our wedding day — the two of us on a footbridge in a natural area — her immense talent was apparent. There was discussion about whether to bring the bridal bouquet. We decided to bring it just in case we wanted it used in the photos. Within fifteen seconds after arriving at the location, Alexis said “We don’t need the bouquet. I already know what we’re going to do.” And did she ever! The photographs on the footbridge not only made us both look like vintage film stars, but captured the essence of our passion, laughter, and love.
  
  In short, Alexis was able to capture “us” as a couple. We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process. We would highly recommend Alexis to anyone seeking an immensely talented photographer whose talent and expertise transcends the lens. You will not be disappointed.

  The best wedding photographer there is!

  Alexis is a phenomenal photographer. We first worked with her back in 2017 for our wedding. We had only a few shots in mind and were otherwise not sure what we wanted. She walked us through every single pose, taking background, light, and body position into every shot. The pictures we got back are still one of the highlights from the day. After our wedding, and after she moved to the DMV area where we live, we have continued to use her for family photos every year. Our most recent was family and newborn pictures for our third and she was amazing as usual. She was wonderful and patient with our kids, gave tips on how to have a successful experience with a newborn, and blew us away with the most beautiful family photos. We will continue to use Alexis every time we want new family pictures and refuse to see anyone else. We highly recommend her!

  Alexis made me and my husband very comfortable in front of the camera, making me feel natural and relaxed! The photos were delivered very quickly to us and were so beautifully edited! I look forward to her taking photos in the future for anything...from maternity, family, and beauty portraits!

  As a photographer myself, I have really high standards for portraits. Alexis' work went above and beyond my expectations. She is truly an artist, and is masterful in her handling of couples in portrait sessions. My wife and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

  I am not a person who likes a camera near by, in fact I was going to skip the whole engagement photo shoot and just use old photos. Working with Alexis changed my mind about photo shoots. The whole shoot was very natural and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Alexis simply was a friendly presence and did a wonderful job capturing the natural loving moments my fiancé and I have together all the time. Looking at the photos now I feel they are authentic and true to who we are as a couple.

  There is truly no one better than Alexis El Massih. There are so many qualities we love about Alexis, we could list a million, but our favorites are her compassion, empathy, kindness, love, and honesty.   Alexis and her crew did an amazing job with the photography at the wedding. Alexis also did my engagement photos which were amazing as well. I did feel like my photos took awhile to get back but I was at the very beginning of wedding season and with 3 photographers she had a lot of pictures to sort through. She was very responsive though when I asked questions and kept me updated on the status of the pictures. Highly recommend for any photo needs!
