Manny was absolutely wonderful to work with. Since it was a destination wedding, we communicated through email and he was very quick to respond to any questions and requests. The music he played for our ceremony and cocktail time after was perfect and enjoyed by all the guests. Towards the end of our planning we decided to have Manny also perform at our wine tasting event after the ceremony. He quickly organized a violinist to accompany him and again the music was perfect for the location and style of event. Thank you Manny for adding just the right touch to our road trip wedding!Manny was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our officiant flaked out on us and we were given Manny's name from a friend. I was so happy we called him. For our small wedding Manny had the perfect touch. By far the worst parts of our wedding could be attributed to this vendor. We used his wireless mic and to basically push play on a CD I gave him for our procession during our ceremony (which he charged us an extra $300 for), it went out and I look over and he is leaning up against the tree staring at us. Half of the guests couldn't hear our vows that we worked so hard on writing. Not to mention he played the wrong songs while our bridal party walked down the aisle.
During the "reception hour" he was supposed to direct the guests to have a seat, he didn't. The guests had no direction so they began lining up at the buffet before everything was ready which added stress to the caterers.
When everyone was dancing he literally played all the songs on the Do Not Play list and I (the bride) had to ask him if I could do the Father/Daughter dance with my dad because it was getting late and he was leaving. Oh also had to ask if he could play our First Dance song. Totally unorganized, was rude to a couple of guests from what I was told as well. Pay the extra few hundred bucks and get a real DJ.
