  Allison is amazing and we are so happy to have worked with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a photographer. We hired Allison for both our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. Allison is extremely professional, on time (early), and is super easy to talk to and work with. Our family and friends commented on how great she was during our wedding. As someone who had never had professional photos done before, she made the process extremely easy, walking us through what to expect and allowing us to add our own input and poses. Allison provided edited previews of both our engagement session and wedding photos within days of each, which included a significant portion of the photos and included many of the specific shots that we requested, so that we wouldn’t have to wait. We are so grateful to have found Allison and 100% recommend her!

  Beautiful photos, Amazing experience!

  Allison did our engagement photos prior to our wedding in August and they came out amazing! We had a great experience with her. She made us feel so comfortable and made us look great even though we had no idea what we were doing! Cannot recommend her enough!

  Allison was absolutely the best choice I made for all my vendors! She was so easy to feel comfortable with, she went the extra mile in every aspect she could, and was always respectful and professional. She was just an absolute dream. A photographer is such a huge decision to make to capture pictures you will have for a lifetime and I am telling you, you won’t regret hiring Allison.

  Allison was absolutely the best choice I made for all my vendors! She was so easy to feel comfortable with, she went the extra mile in every aspect she could, and was always respectful and professional. She was just an absolute dream.   I CANNOT say enough good things about Allison. She truly saved the day this past weekend at my brother's wedding in Warwick, RI. Her professionalism, vision and communication are unmatched. The images she managed to capture are stunning. She advocated for the vision my brother and SIL had and was great at helping to organize not only the wedding party but all of the guests. I have worked with many vendors in assisting with my brother's wedding and planning my own for next April and none hold a match to Allison! If you are in the area, I highly HIGHLY recommend her.

  Hire Her—She is the BEST!

  I could not have asked for a better photographer. She was the backbone of our wedding day. Not only did we have QUALITY and BEAUTIFUL photos delivered even sooner than we anticipated, but she captured moments I don’t even remember. She brought our day to life in her photos. Not only is she a phenomenal photographer, but she was genuinely sincere, kind, funny, anticipated our needs, and flexible. I am currently trying to find excuses to have another photo session with her. You will not regret hiring her. Her communication is strong, and never once did I feel I waited an unreasonable amount of time for a response. Allison is incredible.

  Incredible!

  Gosh, where do we begin?! Allison has been absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding and engagement photo process. From the start, she has had excellent communication. We are from out of town and originally weren't sure if we were interested in having engagement photos done. I contacted her several days before giving her a small window of time when we would be available. Not only was she able to fit us in, but we had our sneak peeks returned to us in a VERY short amount of time. Did I mention she was also wrangling our pup that we brought along during couples' photos without him? Fast forward to our wedding, she was equally as amazing. Once again, we received our sneak peeks back in a very short amount of time and are absolutely in love with our photos! On top of this, she makes you feel very relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

  Bottom line: 100000% RECOMMEND!

  My photographer was the vendor I cared most about - I love photos, and you are going to have these wedding photos capturing those once in a lifetime moments forever! Initially I was nervous to go with Allison because I did not know anybody personally who had used her, but I loved her photos and read lots of great reviews from people online. I went ahead and booked her anyways and it was the best decision I made for our wedding! Learn from me - trust the random people you don't know online (like me!) saying that she is AMAZING!!! We did an engagement shoot and she was super accommodating with changing dates last minute - the weather wasn't looking good for our scheduled date and she knew how badly I wanted sunset photos, so she went out of her way and offered me a spot that opened up for her on a different day last minute! I talked with her beforehand about my vision for the photos and she really listened, making my vision come to life and even surpassing what I had hoped. We absolutely loved our photos and used them for both our save-the-dates and guest book (not to mention our Christmas cards that year too!). Leading up to the wedding, Allison was on top of everything, making my life much less stressful as the big day got closer. She scheduled a phone meeting where we made a detailed outline of the day and made sure she had all the shots I wanted listed so that we wouldn't miss any in the chaos of the day. Did I say chaos of the day? On my wedding day, Allison was a true professional and made my experience not chaotic at all! She arrived early and got right to work on detail shots and coming up with ideas for getting ready photos. I had a large bridal party with lots of big personalities and lots of family for photos, but Allison coordinated everyone seamlessly and blended right in with her laid back and enthusiastic personality. She always asked us before trying to pull us away for couple photos and made sure to grab us at the perfect time for golden hour/sunset photos - my favorite! Truly couldn't have asked for more from her that day. At the end of the wedding night, she even sent me TWO sneak peak edited photos which was so exciting to see. Allison sent the rest of our sneak peak photos very shortly after the wedding and there were TONS - way more than I was expecting. And then our full album was also delivered super quickly thereafter. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I "OMG-ed", laughed, cried, and literally gasped while scrolling through our album for the first time. Allison captured every moment perfectly with so many natural and candid photos (while also getting the more standard, classic, posed shots too). There are so many photos that capture so many little moments between my husband and me throughout the day that I truly will cherish forever. I could not have asked for more from a photographer or from my photos. Book Allison! You will not regret it - trust this online stranger :)

  I wish we could give more than 5 stars...

  We received a sneak peak with at least 50 of the 2,000 photos she took the Monday after and they're all spectacular!!! I actually cannot say enough about how great Allison was and how much we absolutely loved working with her. Do yourself a favor and reach out to her!

  Fall Wedding in Newport, RI

  Allison Barrett was our photographer for our October wedding in Newport, RI. Planning a wedding completely remotely could have been a challenge, but Allison was a true professional and guided us the entire way. She put me completely at ease during a bit of a stressful morning with a tight timeline and weather that was not cooperating. She was prepared for everything (even had umbrellas), helped me with jewelry and ironing (an unexpected need), and was calm as can be. She and her second photographer were pleasant, courteous and unobtrusive with our entire wedding party and guests. They were so efficient that we were even able to make it to part of our cocktail reception. Allison captured some of the most endearing, funny and precious moments for us (many that we didn't witness during the busy-ness of the day). We love the final photos and can't recommend Allison Barrett enough!

  The absolute best

  Allison is hands down the best. Not only is she the best in her profession but she truly is an amazing person! She made everyone feel so comfortable and really captured every single moment. She is super understanding and even though there was some hick ups with our timeline (nothing in her control) she helped us work through them and find a solution! Also we received our wedding photos in such a timely manner and we truly were impressed! You will not regret booking with Allison!

  Allison was communicative, patient, and simply professional not only at the event but also during the planning period before the big day. On top of being incredibly talented, she brought the best vibe to make it the most pleasurable experience for everyone involved. Both ourselves and our families loved working with her at our wedding and having her be a huge part of our special day. The photos, TO DIE FOR.   Amazing experience!

  Allison was so professional throughout the entire process. Our wedding was originally cancelled due to covid and she was able to rework her schedule and make sure to be there for us on our big day after having to reschedule twice! I received so many compliments from our guest at how professional Allison was throughout the day and they were very impressed with how she was able to keep everyone on track with taking pictures (cuz Lord knows how chaotic that can be with so many people in attendance!). The end result was unbelievable and I couldn't have been happier with how our pictures came out in the end! 10/10 recommend!

  Captured the Best of the Best Day of Our Lives

  Allison and her co-photographer could not have been more professional on the day of our wedding and beyond. Allison took the time to meet with us, prior to signing her, to show us her portfolio in person and find out details of what we were looking for. It was a touch that helped us to connect with her personally while also seeing the caliber of her work. On the day of the wedding, Allison accompanied me and my bridal party for "getting ready pictures" while her colleague accompanied the men. Allison expertly got all of the shots I was hoping for of the pre-wedding excitement without feeling like she was "in the way" as some photographers tend to be. She blended in seamlessly as if she was just another member of the bridal party which made us all at ease and resulted in much more genuine and beautiful photos. She has a knack for catching beautiful shots in the moment without them being "set" as well as your "planned" shots.
  
  At the wedding and the reception, again Allison was the perfect blend of professionalism, fun, and again not in the way. To me there is nothing worse at a wedding then the photographers getting in the guests way of being able to see what's going on just to get the best shots. And I can assure you the quality and number of photos I received did not suffer in the slightest for them being aware of there positioning in relation to our guests. She also had great ideas of formal as well as fun poses for our wedding party pictures.
  
  Allison is reasonably priced for the quality of photography she provides. Trust me and set up a consultation with her. You won't be sorry as your wedding photos are something you will treasure forever. Make sure you are trusting them to the right photographer, and in my mind that is definitely Allison.
